Why is this happening to me!?:/

I have wanted to know this for a long time now, why is my toon becoming sad?!

OK... I guess I'm getting ahead of myself. It must be a glich because lately in the factory my toon becomes sad when facing the Factory Foreman. Here is the problem, when my toon becomes sad none of the cogs attack him!

Can someone help me with this glitch?
