This is so adorable!
Now for the laugh..I've never done the lava room. I've maxed my toon with endless factories....helped lots of friends with their runs....always wait...but have never done it. I mean to say I've never try. Once I did...I fell off and my computer froze with me standing there in the lava. My friends Wascal Wabbit and Twinklebouncer were telling me all about it...lol...I just never tried again. |

If you fall into the lava, you can also run at the wall (under the entrance to the gagup room), jump, and hit F9 at the same time, and you will get up there! This is the same method I use to go through the walls in the Warehouse when I want to skip it or don't want to crush goons, jump onto boxes that are too high in the mint when going back for gags, and even to get from the pond to the walkway around MML.
Sometimes it takes a couple tries, but is faster than running back to the beginning of the belt. Great guide, by the way; I never have been able to get across unless I'm just really lucky. I'll have to try this. |

I actually did that quite a few time when I was taking the pictures for this guide , because apparently when you take a picture, it makes you freeze for just enough time, you get knocked off -_-I will quote you in the guide though

![]() P.S. adding a link to your thread in my Factory Merits thread. Useful for those who want or need to get more gags, so they should have easy access to your guide. ![]() |

Nice guide!
Very helpful for toons new to the factory. The wierd thing is, sometimes, I don't have to press a key at all. I just jump from the lava, and I enter the end. Maybe popular district lag. o_0 |

But why do the Lava Room?
Is it for the toonup barrels?
Is it for the jellybeans? Is it for the sound barrel? I think you should add just what exactly is in the lava room. I have been stuck once trying to jump up by using the funky keys. I lost all my laff points because I was absolutely stuck. I might have been able to kill the application but I opted to see what happened instead. I went sad and back to the sell HQ PG. I usually just avoid the lava room. The stuff in there is not that great. I can do the paint mixer and get cream pie throw and fire hose squirt. Without the hassles of the gears knocking me off the conveyor belt.

2 jellybeans @ 25 beans each (I think, might be 35 beans each).
1 TU barrel (10 points I think, I'm not certain) 1 elephant barrel (restock of 5 or 7, will overflow into lower levels) 1 hose barrel (same as elephant) If you become skilled enough to make it into the room, the beans alone are enough to make the trip (if you aren't full of it already), because when you go to the gag shop, you'll spend less than you made. |

This thread is an extremely helpful guide to negotiating the lava room. I have earned countless merits (both with sf's and with random toons). I consider it one of the most difficult aspects of factory runs for the inexperienced toon. When I began playing not even the Level 11 Skelcog, formerly in the Center Silo, frightened me as much as the Lava Room.
My first sf kindly told me that I needed to run, jump and steer. Her advice enabled me to make my first successful journey into the restock room. Since then, I cannot tell you how many times that I have patiently waited for inexperienced toons to run the gauntlet, posting the following speedchat phrases over and over again: "Got gags?" "We can do this." "This way." "Run." "Jump." I can only imagine their initial confusion when I begin this dialogue but more often than not, the toon realizes that I am indeed trying to help him/her--that there may be method to the madness. Many of these toons who are able to catch on and make the run reward my efforts with "You are a genius," to which I reply, "No. Good teamwork. I like this game." Thanks for the great screenshots and the sound advice. |
