I consider it one of the most difficult aspects of factory runs for the inexperienced toon. When I began playing not even the Level 11 Skelcog, formerly in the Center Silo, frightened me as much as the Lava Room.

My first sf kindly told me that I needed to run, jump and steer. Her advice enabled me to make my first successful journey into the restock room. Since then, I cannot tell you how many times that I have patiently waited for inexperienced toons to run the gauntlet, posting the following speedchat phrases over and over again: "Got gags?" "We can do this." "This way." "Run." "Jump." I can only imagine their initial confusion when I begin this dialogue but more often than not, the toon realizes that I am indeed trying to help him/her--that there may be method to the madness. Many of these toons who are able to catch on and make the run reward my efforts with "You are a genius," to which I reply, "No. Good teamwork. I like this game."

Thanks for the great screenshots and the sound advice.
I tried to tell a toon kinda the same thing, Follow me!-Run!-Jump-This way! It works somtimes.... but usually for me it doesn't. Whenever I say that and they don't get it, I think to myself-

They must think I

A) Always talk giberish

B) Messed up in a strange lag that makes you talk

C) He's crazy.....

True. I agree. However, just imagine the look of dawning on a toon's face when he finally figures it out for himself and realizes just what you were trying to do. Maybe, just maybe, he'll pay it forward.

It was just because I was in Nutty River, in the factory for the 10th time that morning, and my computer had been running forever, and was getting really slow, i restarted it after that factory, it's fine now

I usually just avoid the lava room. The stuff in there is not that great. I can do the paint mixer and get cream pie throw and fire hose squirt. Without the hassles of the gears knocking me off the conveyor belt.
I am planning on adding that in later, my mom told me to stay off the Internet for now, but here I am!

And I usually avoid the paint mixer, I would have to go out of my way to get there, and being a 63, I would get ditched, but I am working on my 5500 merits so its not worth it to me
And in the Lava Room there is the Sound barrel, so I can get more sound
The sound is what makes the Lava room worth it to me!

Compared to the lava room, the paint room is easy. Jump, wait for right time, jump again. No rush to it other than not wanting to hold up others. As for ditching, that's just wrong. If you're ever with me on a run, I'd try to wait for you. (If others along try to finish the run, I'll try to slow it down somehow). But then again, that's just me.

Yeah, when I try to do the paint mixer, I try explaining to the other toons, "Wait for me", "I need more gags", "I'll be right back", and when they say "I need more merits", I say "Me too", but they don't care, they just think I'm another noob who doesn't know what he's doing, but come dance time, they see how wrong they are, LOL.

I never thought this would happen, I was ditched for doing the Lava room, I was showing my sfs the place, and I got ditched, well, so much for the lava room being as convenient as I thought....

Thanks guys.
Okay, I have added what is in the Gag-up room, and explained where to find them, should I insert pictures of where to find them, or is it fine the way it is?

Depends. If you want it to be like an idiots guide, where it gives everything, then I'd say to include 2 screen shots. One from the top of the belt (looking towards some of the gags), with a big X towards the left saying that it's where the 2nd screenshot was taken from, then in the 2nd, showing the barrels for squirt and sound.

Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it, because if someone knows whats in there (your list you added), then they can find it once they get in there.

Depends on what you want to do. If you do it though, I recommend changing the point of view to be first person (pressing tab 1 time), so its a view without the toon in it.

Thanks, I think I'll just leave it how it is, i don't feel like soloing a factory right now anyway
