The Toontown Development team has uploaded multiply patches per day on Coq Hq 3 times faster than fishing, the latest patch is 1.0.9.9 and the release canidate could be 1.1.0.0

They've done 2 extra patchs this weekend, no matter how fast they go, CHQ should take much longer. You can't compare the amount of time it took to put fishing on to the amount of time it will take to put CHQ That's like comparing a ruby to a peice of gold.


Once again, it'll be out when it's out.

You are right, the people who said it will be out soon are correct. But soon to me might be two or three weeks, soon to you might be one. I don't think it'll be done in a week. I could be wrong but take into consideration this: Maybe the reason WHY they're putting out more updates than they were in fishing is because Cog HQ is HUGE! It's a major update. And they're adding more updates because it seems when they implement a fix, there are more problems that arise. So until they get it tweaked just right, they are putting out the fixes rapidly, but releasing it this week: I seriously doubt it. I personally wouldn't want to pay a monthly fee & get a product full of bugs & glitches & crashes. They sent an update to fix problems with getting into Cog HQ...guess what? Now it resets the server everytime someone goes into Cog HQ & people can't get to their estates! Do you really want THAT kind of product on open?

They have a development server for testing only one major update, like uploading Cog HQ only not any more parts of toontown, and they probabaly get it error free there, when they put it on the test server the update collaberates with the rest of toontown making it a lil' bit buggy and the server resets not because of the huge update, but they are replacing files causing some games to crash because of the frame rate slowing because the server is using resources to recieve the uploaded files. Once they get everything working with everything else they will release it.


But bunny summers you are right one to two weeks to realese around the holidays.

Yeah. I hate it when companies say that things are coming out "soon", it's far too vague. I'd rather they said something like "we estimate that Cog HQ may be out in 3-6 weeks". At least it would shut people up for the first 3 weeks.

The numbering system they use would make the next one 1.0.9.10, actually.

Why I think it will be out within the next one and a half weeks: the holiday lights. What would be the point of putting them up if we don't get them on Open until after Xmas? They said they would be testing them today, sometimes they will be there (they were last night--I saw them in both the DG playground and at my estate), sometimes not (they were not there in the DG playground this morning; I couldn't get to my estate to see if they were there or not).

I think they have been told this has to be out before Xmas...and folks, that is just one and a half weeks from today.

Countrymouse, are you just referring to lights or to Cog HQ? The lights are scheduled to be released into Open probably within the next day or so, at least that's what I heard on some other posts. But that has nothing to do with Cog HQ. They can release the lights into Open without having to release Cog HQ. I'm sure the lights will be on Open within this week.

Ahahaha, I am such a fuzzy-brained mouse! I thought they were connected! Okay, I will be happy to see the lights on Open. I can certainly wait for Cog HQ until it's truly ready.
