Nope thats not it

Nope - I get disco'ed all the time and see that message - while friends in the same district, mint, cfo or whatever just keep on playing.
I sent a very angry message to disney and they said tt is a very demanding game and needs constant "packet exchange" between your computer and the server. If it's disrupted for even a split second, you get booted. The tech I talked to said that any router (wireless or not) will do it sometimes, with cheaper routers doing it more often. He said connect straight to the modem, not through a router, and that helps. Of course, then you can only run one computer in the house on the internet at a time.....

Here's an idea for you.
Unplug the router first (power cord)
Unplug your modem (power cord)
Reboot your computer.
When you get to windows... plug the power cord back into your router first, then your modem.
Sometimes even resetting the router can help... and I think that little tiny reset button is in the back.
I have a router.
Periodically I will unplug both power cords and restart the computer.

You are right about TT being demanding, however if your connection is that show that you can't send a packet or two per second... Wow, get a new router.
