VP is defeated!!

You now have to throw the pies and knock the VP off the helipad. There is no need to go back for more pies. There were 67 cogs to defeat. Must be 33 cogs per side plus the VP. We did it!!!
Knuckles, Annabelle didn't make it but the rest of us did.

Pancho Villa
Terrapin
Mrs. Darcy
Queen Pearl Crinkletooth
Keyser Soze

Enjoy!!!

Wow, that's great! Congratulations!

So did they put your portraits up somewhere, like in the DG gag shop or something?

About time

I have a question. Does anyone know if all the Cog HQs are going to be the same difficulty level, or is Daisy Gardens going to be easier than DL?

I ask because you guys on test have had great difficulty beating this VP, and you're all high laffers. If this is Daisy Gardens and DL will be harder, then it's going to be like impossible. But if they are all the same difficulty then that's not fair on the lower toons, of 40 or more laff.

Maybe they'll change it, but I just wondered what anyone knew so far.

if you read thru the updates you'll see that nothing is final, they'll adjust it as needed I'm sure.

I suspect each will have different difficulty. One hint is in the book that shows the suit pieces. Each HQ suit requires different number of pieces to complete it.

Didn't they fix the VP in the last update? I think it was hard up until now because the game wouldn't let him be defeated.

I think it's a fair bet that DG will be the easiest cog HQ, and they'll get more difficult, or maybe require different techniques to defeat the VP in successive HQ's.

pies unlimited

We don't need to run up for more pies anymore, all we have to do is jump up to the npc's cage once, and then we're given an unlimited amount of pies. We can just throw and throw until he falls off the helipad.

I had 16 laffpoints left after the first time. I failed to jump every time, coz I was either busy throwing a pie or moving forward.I saw others who had been better at jumping, with more than 50 laffs left. The second time I went in, he didn't seem to jump at all. Maybe once. Maybe it was because we were 8 toons that time. Maybe he didn't get a chance to jump! I had 61 laffs when we defeated him.

I forgot to check my cog-level, but having defeated the vp twice, I need 40 merits to get ready for promotion.

I now have two sos-cards. On both it says "one remaining", so I guess we'll be able to stack up a few.

Ah. So the SOS cards are just one use. That makes sense now. Let me also add my CONGRATULATIONS (PARA BENS!) Did anyone grab any screen shots?
