"I Think This is Too Risky For You" - I Think Not!

Recently I had a V.P. in which I would have welcomed a "Too risky" remark. I went to V.P. and expected to have more stinky spam than a canned food drive thrown my way, but nobody said a word to me. I was duped. The moment the cog fights started, another toon was determined to throw cream pies at every lured level 12 there was. I didn't stand a chance.

My 106 Laff toon, South Paw, will go anyplace with anybody. Heck, I've gone into 5 story DDL bldgs. with a new uber friend who is still building his gags. We beat many of them, but he went sad twice and I ended up having to finish the bldg. on my own. And its not uncommon for me to jump onto a 4 story alone if there is nobody around to go with me. I've soloed the fac., but have not attempted to solo the vp and don't know if I would want to. Anyway, any and all toons are welcome to join the purple bear anytime and any place. She spends a lot of time in the less populated districts, so just look for me and I'll be glad to help.

I guess I might as well do it by myself or go in with just 2 others if one happens to jump on but has no gags. They will probably make it through if they have the laugh points, but they aren't going to be contributing toward killing the cogs and that's not fair to the rest of the team. It might seem rude or whatever, but if I see that a toon will be unable to help then I won't get on the elevator with them.

I once did a factory with two friends of mine and a 15 laffer.
We hypnogoggled the cogs and backed his bitty gags up.
Nobody went sad.

Oh I'm sorry! I meant no gags at all - I guess that's my gripe of the day lol
As long as they come prepared (with gags in stock), I don't mind.

I know I might be using tu a lot, and I definitely use lure a lot (trying to max it) unless someone suggests otherwise. I went through the factory the other day with a 17 laffer and we all made it just fine. But he was also contributing what he could toward destroying the cogs.

That makes the difference to me. If people aren't contributing to defeating the cogs at all, then what is the point of them being there?

We once went into a building with someone who kept saying "I need more gags" and I kept wondering why they bothered to come with us - and those that were actually battling the cogs (me included) were getting annoyed that this toon wasn't doing anything. But when we got damaged, he was able to tu which was cool - not ideal, but at least he/she was trying to do something.

almost always the toons riskying me are about 100 laff with really really really bad gags.

Do they really mean the factory is too risky for me? - or do they mean they have no confidence in their own ability to play with someone of such low laff?

it gets annoying, i can stand for ages waiting to get a decent load, or i usually just end up either calling up my SFs, or taking my big toon out on the other account.

i've soloed the factory on my 34 laffer, it took a while, but i did it, and i'd do it again,

so, if you see a low laff toon saying they need merits, just check the gags, it may very well be an Uber.

Don't just stink me, especially when i have better gags than you, and most likely a better suit.

they have a right to say this 2 hits from lvl 12 hollywoods and your sad. and it causes toons trouble to attack cause they have to use toonup to save you

I know it was the factory being discussed, but he might have gotten confuzzled for a minute with factory and VP.

Even if it was, ubers are usually amazing players with usually other maxed toons, and know what they are doing in there. I find it exciting and fun to VP with ubers, its a chalenge, and u would be suprised how quickly they go because they are usually some of the most experienced players in the group.

i'll go in the factory with anyone who wants to give it a shot. i play 2 toons miss lilac lady and moonlight mcboo. both are higher laffs cause i'm not ready to even think of the stressful life of uberness. i will do my best to make sure you make it through. the only time i will jump out of the elevator is if i am with friends and we have made plans to do the factory runs. barring that, anyone is welcome anytime. i prefer to sound since i am probably doing multi runs, but i always adjust my gags (my friends do as well) for non sounders. the phrase-go for the strongest cog 1st-is used frequently. i'll try to make sure i do a few runs without my friends to help out whenever i can. the only request i make is if i ask you not to use a bike horn on lured cogs, please do it? i always carry at least 3 balls, 7 dust, and 7 canes but if i'm constantly tooning, i can't help kill the cogs. i never worry about ubers. they KNOW what they're doing and usually i can learn from them.

I have gotten to the point that I will go in factory and vp with anyone. Don't check the gags until get into vp. Then I see the lp if they are on my side. If low will try to keep them alive but I've seen 15 laffers do stupid stuff in vp.

I don't try to tell people what to do unless the first round or 2 they make stupid mistakes, ie sound on lured cogs, going after a 12 alone with pie slice, etc.

I have 1 toon maxed in sell and cash, and bw 14, one that is holly 14, bean counter in cash and ambulance chaser in law, then my cat that is working mml tasks and has one suit part. I personally will go into factory with low toons, thought a 15 laffer will be in trouble if they get hit by to many goons. I can only control the goons so much. That is the only issue I have with the factory and my cat currently is working on getting the tu track, decided to try sound as my first gag track instead of tu on this toon.

GL getting into the factory and unless I'm running with friends I will run with anyone and check their gags once we get in so I can determine how we will play out the factory.

I was too lazy to read the rest of the thread, but my response is: myself, I always check gags before telling someone it may be too risky for them. (but usually only for lowww laffers like 30-) but it may take a lot of time if there are many people around the area. Saying this is too risky for you isn't always 'stinking', it is a lot of the time trying to keep weaker toons non-saddened.

2 cents adds up! GIVE IT BACK!

I agree, I don't want to see anyone go sad. And if I never found this forum, I would have never known about ubers. In any case, I never mean any offense whenever I do say that.

I don't degrade people who BELONG in SBHQ. I check gags first, or I ask them their task, etc.

I only tell people it's too risky if they're like less than 18 laff, and haven't got more than fruit pie slice and water glass.
