Not-So-Bright Toons in the Mint

A few minutes ago I went into the Mint with not-so-bright toons. In the third battle, the cogs were almost defeated and one of them used lure. I used sound because they could have been defeated if someone helped me. But NOOOOOOOOO! They kept saying "Don't use sound on lured cogs" even though all I needed was another aoogah to defeat them all. If only they had realized that. Then, they became stupid and kept stinking me and nobody would toon me up. I ended up leaving. ARGHHH!

EDIT: I was a COMPLETE NOOB when I made this thread.

Well, that was inconsiderate of you. So, they didn't want to use sound, what gives you the right to choose what gags they should pick?

Regarding gag choice.... you really need to go with the whole team.
There are many times I'd like to just sound my way thru, but if the group I'm with wants to use lure and other gags... I just go along with them.
Now, I would still have tooned you... because I won't purposely let someone go sad because I don't agree with their gag choice or take the chance in having someone tp out.
If lure was chosen first, I personally wouldn't have chosen sound, unless the sound gag would have killed off the cogs.

If you have sound, then you really should sound through mints cause toons don't want to spend forever in there. I like to get in and out fast and cfo and go again cfo etc... So it gets annoying when people want to train gags or lure every set when we could easily sound through. So I agree you, if they won't sound through (provide it they have sound and you repeatedly say "lets use sound") then you should tp out for the sake of time.

I have a different idea of who was not so bright.....bright goes along with the team. If you want things a certain way you need to go with friends who agree. If you go with randoms you take what you get or you TP out and waste your time. If that's the way you want to spend your time, be my guest....but think about this, why should YOU get to decide what gags everyone else uses?

From your description it sounds like maybe the cogs had been sounded and the 11s were left? You say you could have defeted them had someone used an aoogah?

Well, if this is the case, please realize that it is generally accepted practice to sound this way, leaving the 11s red, and gag train on the leftovers. You can easily get 200 points on a gag track this way and not take much more time than sounding the 11s. I would have tooned you up, but I would not have been pleased if you joined MY group and tried to sabotage my gag training in this way. It really helps if you try to consider what others want rather than just what you want. I'm thinking maybe they weren't too unhappy to see you leave.

Otherwise, you need to be flexible in the Mint. Remember that sound doesnt last for all of it.

Well, unless you can do the mint all by yourself...it has to be a team effort. Maybe they wanted to lure so everyone else could use tu. Unless they're sf, you can't know what they're thinking.
You should have just made the effort to be a team player...used tu or taken out one of the cogs. Who knows maybe one of them needed a few more lure pts. They shouldn't have refused to give you a tu though.

I like the mints cause...you can get some of your toontask done faster. Or, You can SellbotVIP or CFO for it too.
