my story is simaler we make through the skelecogs with 8 toons and one toon yells lets go to the playground and they all left. there was one toon who was jumping way far back the left ramp the toons walk down in disquise and later dissapeared and a clone was there.... spooky! she was completely still. she gets hit by a cog gear of any tipe, the gears go straight through her and no red numbers flying over her head no nothin! i had 49 laff at the time and i was a name dropper 7. i died before ever getting the big dude down i bit of the ramp! but now im a level five mover and shaker with 55 laff 7 more laff, 5 more vps so now im wishing that will never happen again. theory: 1 toon left cause of completing a sellbot toontask that she thought had already been completed and left so other toons decided to leave cause of less than 8 toons. but once.. im on the vp elevator and some name dropper or two face dog hops out by zero while im helping my mom out at the vp and both me and my mom won!!!!!
so im happy that dog left cause he was a level 10 and could of gotten his mingler. so for now!!!

I have a similar story too:
I was in the VP,and in the normal cog battle,1 toon closed. In the skelecog battle, the whole other side went sad!We won with 3 toons left and then another closed.I was left with my friend, again hopeless because of the VP's ability to move up.We actually did it somehow and the card I got was a restock gags or a drop card I think. Anyways, all the other stories were cool too. |

My stories have a similitude to everyone's here. Although, I'm only dithced when the SOS Toon is Flippy. It stinks, being that I've been on ToonTown for some two years and I've never captured a Flippy SOS.
You see, it all started when I was forty-six Laffs. I was still a Cold Caller, or at least a Telemarketer; I can't remember. I was overwhelmed that Flippy was the SOS Toon, but as soon as we reached the Skelecog Round, the highest of them all, whom was 115 Laff, shouted out "Hey!" "Let's go back to the Playground!" Thus, everyone alt-F4ed and left me alone with some twenty Laffer.. She died in one attack, and I followed her. From then on, every time I VP'ed and Flippy is the SOS Toon, I end up disconnecting or everyone ditches / goes sad. It's really frustrating if you ask me. |

From then on, I never listen to toons who are 100+ who say "Lets go back to PG" I always stay and give it a shot...I mean..Look what happened.
*I've gotten Flippy three times* Hehe sorry... I think its just random who u get. I've been dieing to get a Lil Old Man...Every time its him i die or we lose...SO i've been there... I am now a lvl 8 Name Dropper with a 103 Laff. I give it a shot to kill him or i will die trying... ---Flip |

Bad Toons
Unfortunately, there are quite a few high laff/suit toons who SOS shop with random toons. Thus when they complete the first round, and see what the SOS is they Alt F4 out if they don't want the card (ie: if it isn't a level 5 card, usually). Or they finish the skele round and then disappear.
Usually they are secret friends, with little regard for lower laff/suit toons. I'm a HW 50, and once I'm in, I'm in. I've managed to win past the skele round with 2 cold callers. They were smart and stayed back and threw pies, I dropped pies in the hole every time it opened, and in about 25 minutes we were done. I was prepared to dump toon-up unites on them regardless of the time ittook. And it wasn't for a great card. But it got the CCs their win. If they (the high laffs/suits) were decent at the game, they should know that they can finish the VP round in less than 10 minutes every time, as long as someone is good at pie'ing the hole in the back, and then the front on the last one. But apparently they rode on someone else's coattails to get their suits, and are scared to play the game Good luck - don't let jerks get you down. Craig |
