The truth about that Bossbot HQ pic, the origninal Sellbot HQ, and "All Cog HQ"

No doubt you've seen a picture of a supposed "Bossbot Arm Factory" out of the old Toontown news articles. I'm going to tell you the truth about what that picture is and what Cog HQ orrigninally was intended to be.

Orriginally, it appears that Disney intended to make just one Cog HQ, as there is no mention of four Cog HQ's in Disney's first articles about it. It also appears that they were intending for each Cog type to have three different factories, an arm factory, a leg factory, and a torso factory where you would recover a certain type of cog suit part. Both skelecogs and normal cogs would roam the streets of Cog HQ (it sounds like Disney orriginally intended it to be like a normal neighborhood with streets and such).

However, it seems that Disney soon abandoned the idea of having an All Cog HQ and decided it would be cooler to split it up into four different HQ's. So what happened to the idea of having three different factories? Well, if you look in the Sellbot HQ file in the Toontown Phase Files, you'll find somthing interesting. All of the files having to do with the Sellbot Factory are not labled "SellbotFactory". They are labled "SellbotLegFactory". It seems that what we know as the Factory was originally intended to be just the Leg Factory for the sellbots. Interestingly enough, I believe there is actually a single file labeled "SellbotArmFactory" that has the texture for a metalic floor or somthing. It seems, however, that after completing the Sellbot Leg Factory, Disney just decided to abandon the idea of having multiple factories as well, and just decided to deliver Sellbot HQ with one factory.

So, I would say that this "Bossbot HQ" picture was a picture of the outside of the Bossbot Arm Factory when it was part of an All Cog HQ. Since they didn't include this system in Sellbot HQ and haven't put factories in any of the other HQ's, I doubt that disney is going to use this "Bossbot Arm Factory" idea. They might, but I think Disney will probably choose to be more creative. Besides, there's pencil pushers walking around outside. I would expect to see somthing more like Corporate Raiders if it's the actual Bossbot HQ.

I remember when it said stuff like that on some part of the website. I can't seem to find what said that though. But i distintly remember telling my friend what it might be like and that was it. That does sound interesting though. I feel like I've been playing toontown forever now that i think about it...i was here before sbhq came out hmmm...lol.
