"I need extra Cog Bucks"

Lately I have been going into the bullion with a group of toons (not the same ones). At the end they say "Wait a minute" "I need more cog bucks". So we all stand there for 5 or so min. Then we end up fighting. Am I missing something. I don't notice any difference.

Do you have sound? People don't like to mint with people who dont have sound, and are probably trying to ditch you so they dont have to go with you. They might want to just zip through the mint with sound and earn more bucks by doing more mints...

If so, I know how you feel. Just go with your friends, they won't judge you if you're a soundless.

If you DO have sound, then I'm not sure...Maybe they're waiting for a friend?

They were waiting for a cog invasion to start. If you finish the boss battle during an invasion, you will get double bucks/merits/notices, which is VERY nice when you need lots of them!

They were already in the mint, at the end, with only the supervisor and his 3 buddies to fight. What Bongo says below is the answer.

Only time this isn't quite accurate is in the Offices. They double but they don't. You get a flat 'bonus' per floor that doesn't double. In Office D, you get like 921 notices without invasion, and 1542 with invasion. (It's 621, doubled is 1242, then add 300, you get 921 and 1542).
