Any number of reasons. Some are good, others are completely and utterly stupid...
1. Going with one or more friends. If all friends are not on, then the others hop off. 2. Checked persons profile, either missing laff points or missing gags. If missing enough gags or enough laff, this is understandable. 3. Doing it on purpose because it's "funny". 4. Someone is biased against Bottom Feeders. 5. Not enough toons on the elevator (even if it's more than 6); along the same lines, if it's not enough Big Wigs Level 50's. Namely, if it's less than 7 BW50 with them, they hop off to discourage the others. Of course, the first 2 make sense. The last 3 are the idiot people and their reasons. |

Because at just over 100 many toons do not have maxed gags and MANY toons still do not understand gag strategy. I want to get in the DA's office, when I deem to go, and get the heck outta there. Toons working gags are not the quickest way to finish.
So I personally avoid an elevator full of "smaller" toons. In the cj I like smaller suits on EXPERIENCED toons. But I have almost no patience with toons that get into the cj and just do their own thing without any teamwork. I've been in enough cj's to know that the toon behind the small suit could have lots and lots of experience but unless I know them by name or reputation I have no way of knowing how much they know. The cj battle is so grueling, I want it over with as quick as possible. |

There are MANY weak 100's out there. I have done some disasterous CJ and DA runs with lower laffers, and some amazing ones too. Problem is you just never know. When I am on Scarlet though I welcome the lower suits as they help counteract the intensity of the cj when you have a lot of big suits. I do think however most times it IS friends trying to get together and not succeding... Hang in there. 5 times and you'll loose the Bottom Feeder suit (still tyring to loose Midnight Riders..lol).. once people see you have at least a clue of what is expected of everyone in a cj (requires intense teamwork) they will let up... Good Luck in law... ugh!

Because many times when I have gone in with all low suits, when it comes to the court part, they just run around and don't do anything. If they get down to 80 laff they have a panic attack and don't help at all. It never occurs to them that if they help with the battle, they might win and survive.
Other than that, I don't care about laff or gags. It only matters on the strategy. It is similiar to the toons who have high suits in the VP, but they don't actually fight the VP. They stand really far back and jump up and down (and I'm not talking about the ones who are playing two toons and need to do that). I've had two sfs who always got free rides that way, and as you would guess, they aren't my friends anymore. |

another rare reason I will either hop off or leave is because there may be a toon there I have been in with before and KNOW what is going to happen or there are two toons on my list who I know will bail if things get a little ugly or if they don't like someone in the group. I play the game to have fun. If I know someone is not a team player, a griefer or just always in a rotten mood..chances are I don't want to play with them. I never look at suites.
Funny story about suites is I do like to go in with my little toons that no one knows. I was trying to get in the VP and I was being ditched. Funny thing I was sf on my big toon with the toons there. They had no clue it was me. Don't you know I sure let them have it later. (notice I said was sf hee hee) |
