Dont go in bullion if you dont need it

I know there are millions of threads like this but I'm tired of all the LAME toons who insist in going into the bullion.

After elevator shuffling for ten minutes I finally got in with a 106 a 106 and a 86. The 86 chose a task to defeat 12 bullion mint supervisors... really bad choice.

The three of them decided to skip battles and then wouldnt wait for invasion at the end. We got 500 bux which doenst matter to them cuz two of them don't even have a cash suit.

There is NO reason to go into the bullion unless you need big bux. And you should never choose a task to defeat bullion mint supervisors if you are too chicken to do all the battles.

I've done countless mints on my RB 50 to help friends, he doesn't need them, so should he stay out? Perhaps you should choose your words more carefully.

Ohh.
So do you mean...
Don't go in the bullion unless you need the cogs?
Like those people kept skipping battles...
But bullions are really needed for cog bucks?
If so then I agree.
If they don't want the cogs, go to a dollar or coin then.

I think we both know that isn't what they mean. You're helping someone who needs it therefore you need it in order to help.

I agree.. but I'm one of those toons who are somewhat confused on how much the dollar mint gives. So basically, if it's above 650, I go to the bullion. I don't skip cogs for any reason though.
I hate it if I needed tons of Bucks though, and someone tries to skip (been there).

On my last set of 8900 two times in a row they didn't wait for me at supervisor because I was lagging really badly or I said I'll be right back. I hate that most.

They meant to say: Don't go into the Boullion Mint in the Invasion district.

I don't plan on choosing a task to go into any Mint until I get my Cashbot suit. Yeah, that's a long time away (since I was stupid enough to accept a task to take over 20 five-story Bossbot buildings for one Cashbot disguise part )...

Defeating bullion mint supervisors might be a bad choice of task but still it's a task offered by TT. Being on my nth toon I would never take that one for a suit part; but I can see how someone on his first suit might think it's an easy task. You can't say they have no business being there or no business taking that task - take THAT up with ToonTown!

On the other hand IMO they should not have skipped cogs if you needed them, either. But the bottom line is with randoms you take what you get. If I had no friends on and had to do a random I might not be happy about it, but that's what's out there. I don't do randoms myself because it just isn't FUN for me for all the reasons I see griped about in forums... I would rather wait until I can run with friends or just take my own 2 toons. Heh, I even run in slow districts without invasions because shuffle and gag work are just not enjoyable for me! Eh, well, my toons might advance more slowly but that's OK with me.

I realize most don't have the double-tooning option and choose not to have to wait for friends, and I feel for ya - but again, with randoms, you sort of have to take what you get. It's just the nature of the beast.

Oh - and I take my RB50 into the Bullion in the invasion district all the time if I want to. *shrug*

Trust me: Even then you'll want to get your bucks via buildings as long as you can LOL

My first toon I accidentally got something like "get 50 skelecogs from the cashbot dollar mint"

It wasn't pretty.

You have to go into a mint to get your cog suit on one of the tasks, sorry.

No you do not.

You can shop around for the HQ tasks and get something like yea many Sellbots or yea many any cogs anywhere. Like I said, my getting the dollar mint task months back was in error - I didnt need to take it and I should have paid attention to the "where" part.

Only the shop keepers require you to get specific cogs etc, and only one task is achieved by running a mint, for which a couple of friends can do the coin together to succeed. That's to get a pestle from the Loan Sharks in Cashbot HQ for Rip V Winkle. The exception to this of course is if there was a Loan Shark invasion, in which case you could just pick them off right there in the trainyard.

Yes, I believe for the one where you have to get a pestle from Loan Sharks in CBHQ. Only one place in there to get them, unfortunately.
