Boss Solo Question

Hey everyone, this question is mainly for the people who have solo'd any type of boss cog in the Cog HQ's.


I plan to solo the VP and CFO later down the road, and I have toon-up. I was wondering what I should do with the gags, since I won't be needing them in the fight, but I don't want to not carry them considering when I would use a gag up all or Professor Pete, it might fill my toon up bar, which would be a waste.

So, what should I do?

I know this from experence the PP doesnt fill up the gags you had so i think it would but im not sure

I've never solo'd (don't really plan to either), but if I were going to do it, with the exception of toonup, I would load up on all gags, starting with the strongest first. I doubt that you want to fight the entire thing with just unites/SOS cards. You might want to use unites/SOS cards to compliment your situation.

Low on laff? Toon yourself up (but make sure that you don't waste it if you're only missing like 10 laff).

Got a bunch of 12s? Use an SOS card to do drop. You'll suffer 12 hits, but then you can use sound and knock them all out.

Got a bunch of low cogs? (Level 5 and below) 1 foghorn will take them all out, although I recommend a magnet lure first so that the fog will be less likely to miss (thus not wasting it).

Treat the unites/SOS cards as an additional resource, not as your main fighting tool. I would imagine that your biggest use will be in selftooning, so fight as wisely as possible to keep from being hit.

That's what I would do. I don't know how much of that would be successful, but I think you see where I'm coming from.
