Craning tips

Hey everybody. I do well in the CFO when it comes to cogs and stomping, but using the crane, that where Im a little rusty. Does anyone have any advice or tips as to how to use the crane properly? I know how to pick up goons and safes pretty well. But I have alot of trouble trowing them at the CFO. Anyone who has any advice or tips I would greatly appreciate it if you shared them in this thread. Any forms of help are accepted and appreciated! Thanks a million

When you have the goon, pull back and line up with the CFO. Pause a moment to calm the swing, then move forward and throw with the momentum.

To remove a helmet OR smack the CFO in the head during his dizzy time, don't completely throw the safe. Release the safe (aiming as as you did with the goons if there's a swing) but regrab immediately. You will hit him and get to keep the safe.

Thank you for the tips, I did know some of them, but they were helpful. Also, when I do the lining up and pull the crane forward and let go of the goon/ safe it usually missed the CFO. Is this just a matter of the timing of when I let go of the control button or am I just doing something wrong?

Probably just timing. I would suggest you try getting on a crane during the first part of the cfo battle...while the lil yellow goons are coming out. Practice moving it around...your alignment...and tossing goons. If you feel comfortable stay on...if it gets a little overwhelming just ask someone to take over. It just takes practice. You will get the hang of it.

Could be computer lag too --

Another tip I recently learned (yes, RB and still learning. Only a fool thinks they know everything about anything):

If you see the CFO look at you and there are no goons about to hit him from others, hit the ESC key on your keyboard to jump aside quickly before he gears you. It's faster than reaching for the X button.

Wow, that's a good tip.

I just found out (yes, I'm a rookie, lol) that if you pick up the stunned cogs instead of the active, it's easier to hold on to them.

Show's how often I crane, but I think I'm an awesome stomper.
