Why is someone obligated to obey if you say hurry? Plenty of people here and on other boards freely admit that when a toon says hurry it makes them suddenly SLOW DOWN. Not that it makes that right either -- but no toon is obligated to hurry (or wait, or use a certain gag, or anything else your little heart desires) just because another says to.
Granny Pickles said it so well. It's a kids' game. And not everyone, even adults, know about invasions. It's a bit funny to me that in the same forum we see people complaining that toons won't WAIT for an invasion AND complaining that people won't HURRY for an invasion. I've said it before so often I should put it in my sig. When you're with randoms you TAKE WHAT YOU GET. If you NEED things a certain way, go with friends. If you don't have enough friends -- well, I suppose that's a whole 'nother issue, not best dealt with in THIS forum... ![]() Hurrying is not fun for me. Nor is obeying orders. So I run with friends or find something else to do. Lighten up and have fun!

Just as a rule of thumb...
I use Toon-Up in DA if one or more Toons are under 80 Laff. I never count on anyone using a Unite to save other Toons. I have no way of knowing whether randoms have Unites. If using Toon-Up won't cause the team to have to fight an extra round, I'll usually throw it if someone needs 15 or more Laff. ...however, if it's the end, and there's an old invasion, I'll usually not try to Toon Up unless someone's under 70 or so. The last thing I want to see is someone going sad at the very end because Lure or Sound missed! |
