I was afraid of that. I've tried to fight the VP five times now, but I die every time. I hate trying to go in the elevator while everyone is doing the on and off dance. Usually I end up alone or with only one other toon on my side and die on the first floor. I made it to the skelecogs once and we were doing okay until I got hit three times quickly and died. I'll keep trying, eventually I'll get a good group.
Thanks for the info. |

Try to run with the Cold Callers Guild. I tried it once this week to help out the new toons and I was impressed at how organized it went. Sure half of us ended up dying (everything kept missing!) but in the end, it looked like everyone was happy to at least get a chance to play. What part do you usually end up dying in? Have you defeated the skelecog round yet?

I usually die in the first round, which is a direct result of there not being enough people. I've only made it to the skelecog round once, and that time I died during it. It was really just bad luck that time, I took three hard hits in a row. I will look into the Cold Callers Guild. It does sound like fun. Thanks for the tip!

It really stinks when you get a group that is short a person or even two. It may seem a bit harsh but I won't leave without a full elevator and without at least two experienced players. I'm not saying I won't go with new toons, I just won't go without someone who knows how to fight the VP directly. I've tried before and its pretty hard to win without another experienced toon there to help me out. I guess that's why the Cold Callers Guild is so helpful. There is always a good mix of new and experienced toons and you leave with a full elevator whenever possible.
