I know. I don't get it either. You can have all Mr. Hollywoods and one cold caller and the cold caller will hop off (for no reason whatsoever). Or one of the HW's will hop off and everyone else will bail. My rule is to get on and stay on (I never shuffle) but then guess who usually ends up going to the VP by herself.
![]() If you're casually VPing then the CCG is excellent- no shuffle and a high chance of winning. And you usually end up with excellent players. It's actually possible to get a random group once your suit gets higher. I don't shuffle nearly as much now that I'm a HW 40, but on my black cat (telemarketer) I can't even get a group at all.And I never mind going with a couple of 40-50 laffers. Some of them aren't bad players at all, and others may be clueless but will listen to you. I was in with a 51 laffer yesterday who kept trying to use his bugle on lured cogs. I would simply tell him "No" and he would say "OK" and withdraw. See, no harm done.

The Elevator Shuffle
You're both right. It happens over in the CFO, too. I have several toons -- one is a Cold Caller 1, but another is an RB 25. I think that people assume that they'll have trouble with the CC, but people should never assume that. I know that if I walk up to an elevator with the Robber Baron, people will follow me on just because of that.
However.... I just spent twenty minutes trying to catch on with a group (and they only had seven, I don't jump in on full groups.) When the elevator door closed, two jumped off, and then two more bailed afterwards. Totally ridiculous. Frustrating, and a total waste of time. |

Oh my! You think thats a problem? What about the tall suits infront of the countdown? Everyone just JUMPS off even though they can see everyones on!!!!!!!!! I hate that! Then this is what you get if you go with snobby 100s(not all 100s are snobby cuz i am and my friends r too.) anywya you get this with there mew meow mew mew mew->>>

Well, for me, I like a) being with my friends, b) being with whoever I told I'd help or c) not having too many low lvls... (7 30LPs isn't always a good idea...) Of course, things may have changed since my time, but it seems about the same, if not even better...

1 reason why you don't get it may be because your a 70 laffer and you can't emphatize with the high laffers. All you have to do is wait till your a high laffer and the answers will come by themselves. Red Rabbit |

Im sure many would disagree with you

Hee Hee im glad that they listen to you, but for most of us they just dont listen and thats why the shuffle is never gonna go away. Today I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt for the hundreth time. We had attempted sand bags on level 12s, a bcake on a 12 with no backup when we were trying to lure and toonup. We lost 20 pts each for that, and we had bananas on level 11s just to name 3 different VPs. We also had in one VP today 7 toons without lure and yes the whole other side died and we had to start all over again do to 2 more bailing after that. It has been my experience that although occasionally some will surprise you ( second and third, forth toons ) most low laffers are clueless in boss fights. Im not being mean just stating my overall experiences with them. Red Rabbit Red Rabbit |

Oh trust me, they don't all listen to me.
I have the same frustrations as everyone else. But what I've found is that there are some 80 laffers that are worse players than some 40 laffers.I would never recommend going in with all 40 laffers, goodness no, but I still give them a chance every once in a while. A lot of them are better players than most give them credit for (though definitely not all of them... ).I find them far less irritating than some of the high laffers that walk in battle and don't pay attention or think they can stun and just block the undercarriage so we all lose.

Follow up to my earlier message
I wanted to tell everyone that I took someone's advice, and finally joined the CCG. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was! We all followed the tenets of the Guild, avoided the elevator shuffle, and defeated the VP quickly. Afterwards, I TP'd over to Gigglyham, joined in a CFO battle, and truly enjoyed the lack of shuffling again. The best part? The others allowed a Short Change Level 1 to work the crane! And again, the battle against the CFO took minutes -- easily less than ten!
Thanks for the CCG advice! I highly recommend it, but only if you want to follow the few simple rules they have. |

Tonight I did my first CCG. MAN was it amazing! So organized and the toons where awesome, we only had 1 Sad toon cause in the middle of me healing her, the VP jumped and she was only on 9laff.
But yea, I don't like it when I get in random VP things and a Mr. Hollywood comes in. Cause everyone will stalk that 1 person.. like flies.. x.x It's ridiculus. During the CCG. I was clicking on random people and I swaer to you, there was a 36laff, level 25 Mr Hollywood. My jaw, literally dropped to the floor. :\ Just goes to show you..
