LGZ solos CFO!

I have finally succesfully solod the CFO from start to finish. A special thanks to Melissa and Andrew for pestering me to do it. Really couldn't have done it with out you two. Both unbievable players, that spent their time giving tips and sitting back and letting me solo. I would also like to thank Cool Corny Electrofoot for helping me with unites.
Also, anyone who ran from a cfo so I could fight alone. Pretty Kitty, Bj, Miss Chievous, CJ, Black Leopard you all are great.

The Battle

The cog battle overall took about 45 minutes. Long but very fun. You won't belive how much lure was against me today. I have to say it hit 30 percent. Which is terrible. Once it took me 5 turns for lure to actually hit. And it usually hit on the third try. Miss miss hit. Followd that pattern the who way through. We all know miss lures is followed by an extra amount of Toon-up unites. Way too many, I'll write out how SOS and Unites used in a minute. At first 2 12s and I think a level 8 came out. I used Moe Zart to minus 80 from the 12s. Another cog came out and I lured which hit, so I thought I was off to a good start.. I clouded a 12, a level 1 came out, clouded other 12, an 8 came out, and then I killed the already red 8. By now the cogs were 2 8 1 1. Then the battle really began. I started playing safe keeping the low levels. But I got bored so I started killing them off. Which was hard to do with my lack of sound. I ended up killing them waiting for 11s to show so I could bessie. Towards the end is where I started going sos crazy since the level 1s and 2s were gone. At least drop hit more then lure.. I used a few more Moes, LOMs, and lure missing made me use Flippys. I thought it I had more cogs until the last 3 stood still. 12 1 12. I used restock all a few turns before so I had cakes left. I caked 12 then clouded. Caked other 12, then the level 1 woke and 12 and 1 hit me. I lured, it missed, I lured again, it hit. Leaving me in the 40s in laffpoints. I killed the 12 with a pie since I was out of gags almost. Then there I was standing alone with a level 1 and 40 laffpoints. Should I do crane with 40? Naaaa, I used a flippy and killed the level 1, and was ready for the cranes.

There was a total of 69 cogs to defeat in the battle. Cfo makes 70

The Crane

I'm sure we all know how this works, funnest part of toontown people say. If you think that's fun try it alone. There's actually a challenge now, you can be worried and you can have fun and test your skills. I positioned my safes, and got to work. Used the goon tequnique most of the way, but then I remembered I need to take pics. I took a pic and lost my goon which roughened up the battle. Well I overcame it and got it in red. Red is tough. I thought I was about to kill it so I took a pic when goon expoaded. It didn't die, uh oh here it comes.. goon hits me off crane and helmet comes on. not too many goons around but enough to knock me off. Anyone with expience of being alone in CFO knows how last hit is with helmet on. Well I got helmet off and hit him with a goon, yes I'm going to win I thought, oops.. I only hit him by 6. He's still alive and I have to hit him again. After running around to another crane I knocked helmet off dodged gears and quickly hit him with a goon. I won the battle and danced. I really didn't have much trouble in the crane just taking the pic threw me off. I know wasn't over ten minutes here. I'm happy I could do it with no toon-up unites. Just for the feeling I won it with none.

Overall my only struggle was the lack of lures hitting, I don't think I would have done it differently, and I would do it again if had free sos cards and Unites. I will still have fun at the crane though

Woohoo! I've been chatting the whole time through lol. I knew you needed to concentrate but I still was talking...

I knew you were gonna win especially after you had all those unites. Somehow you got them...:-/

Well it's my turn now! You'll never be better! Only just as good! That's why I have to do my solo soon. A couple more SOS cards and I'm good!

It's probably a monkey off your back now that you've solo'd!

You may not believe how exciting andrew and I were since this morning just waiting for this moment. Its worth of waiting and you definitely deserved it. I feel like I was there with you the whole battle by reading your post.

Don’t forget to save a seat on the victory trolley ride for me.

Congratulations on your victory. Very impressive. I didn't realize that you didn't have sound. Makes the victory even more exciting.

Thanks for the pictures and details. I saw from the picture with the CFO bidding you farewell that you still had a couple of small goonies around. You must have finished off the CFO very quickly indeed. I knew you wouldn't have any problems with the CFO after seeing you practice the other day. I'm actually surprised you were down 61 laff when you finished especially since it look like you were only down about 3 laff when you thought the CFO was dead.

Only 1 question - Did you use Flippy when the COGS were lured or unlured? From your post, it sounds like you used it when they were unlured.


The MAX TU TOW is also a good reward. You deserve it.

Now, onto that solo CJ. When you figure it out, please be sure to let me know.

I'm actually determined to solo CJ. I don't think it's impossible just very hard.

Being a goon stunner and being positioned to hit scale. That's it. It's probably way harder than I imagine but I am gonna try it one day.

On topic: Did you actually feel bad on how many SOS/unites you used?

In your thread it makes it seem like it lol?

And after all those lures missed I would have been banging my keyboard on this floor and thrown my mouse across the room. Hats off to you for staying so calm--lol.

Yes, I hate to use SOS and unites. Try to use as least as possible. But lure HAD to miss every turn. Soundless, and lureless it seemed. Not good combination. Andrew, I'm thinking CJ is possible we'll see, and I only Flippyd when cogs were lured and Unite when unlured. I'll edit if messed up in typing just show me where. Thanks everyone again CJ good luck to any other people looking to do this challenge in the future.
