I felt like I was there with you from your descriptions and all of the information that you provided.

I only have a few questions:
Was it 24 or 26 doodle calls???? (just kidding on that one)
Did you have enough TU TOW left not to get worried after about the 12 missed GAG?
What were you thinking when all the gags kept missing? I personally would have been thinking things that couldn't be repeated in this forum.
What gags were missing (lure, throw, SOS, etc...) just curious.

OK, that's all I can think of now. I'm sure I'll have more after I reread your post a few more times.

Congratulations and now, it's onward to the SOLO CFO battle.

Looks like Pink found another PIE EXPERT for her VP training runs !!!!
I'll be volunteering for Pink's runs...you can count on it. Hope to see you doing the same.

I'd better edit it, the doodle notes say 24 calls. It was about 19 hits, the higher tricks missed. His jump was a faithful hit, but he didn't like doing the other tricks repeatedly.

I have a theory...(looking for feedback on it) that some cogs have a "marker" on them...and they are destined to miss...no matter what you do with them. There was a 12 like that. Goggles missed, fishing lure missed, cake missed, piano missed, cloud missed, piano missed again, cake missed again, lure missed again. If I wasn't so determined to keep my 1's alive I'd have used a Bessie or Clara on him, but then I'd have 4 just like him coming to greet me. I was getting real partial to my pretty cold callers and my doodle.

I had enough unites and SOS cards to solo 4 times in a row because of my CCG runs. I wasn't a bit worried about running short. I've also had a blast doing a little card shopping with some truely awesome players. The cards are nice, and useful, the good company and playing with people who really know what they are doing.....was my attraction. I'd go again, any time, whether I was in deep need of the cards or not.

I'm not a reporter. I'm a toontown addicted mommy with a messy house.
I'm a happy one though.

Hope Clover and your hubby were cheering you on (or was this a quiet, focused solo)

Hope to see ya around-

You better believe it! They were there. We scheduled it for Friday morning on last Monday. I even talked Clover into leaving her other games and favorite TV shows to come run a toon to help me practice occasionally. (I stink at running two toons.) Clover set her alarm and was the official note taker for every gag, every result. She was a trooper, keeping her mouth shut about gag selection, so the run would be my doing. (We all know she's the superior player.) Hubby was incredible moral support. When I got to excited and released the pie a slit second early...hitting to high for a door entry, he'd come through with calming comments about how it didn't really matter. I was hopping mad at myself so I needed to hear that. It mattered a GREAT DEAL to me. Nobody could hope for a better cheer squad than I had today.

Murky,

You still owe me an answer to my second question. What’s next? (JK)

Sorry, I can’t stop myself from asking/encouraging toons who successfully solo’ed the VP to move on to the next level of the game – CFO solo.

I personally think CFO solo is easier than VP solo. Although CFO has more cogs with higher levels but at least he doesn’t regain his strength back once he got damaged. Besides, there’re TU to back you up if you’re getting low on laff point.

Wow. Congradulations! Solo-ing VP is something I've wanted to do since the first time I fought it. Now, if only I can pull this off being lureless...lol Very, very nice job there.

Next?

I have two interests. Soloing the CFO would be one of them, and goonie bashing skills are the key. I'm working on it, but I find that I'm usually needed for goon stomping. It'll be awhile before I manage the practice needed to perfect that one.

I have interest in the small team CJs. I'm happy to see a transferance of applying the VP pie blue bar skill to stunning 4 cogs, or the toons needing tu and the cogs, etc. I know you know what I'm talking about. I don't see CJ as a solo battle, but it can be a challenge to get it done with 3-4 ppl.

I see Clover doing these easily on the computer next to mine. I'm an OLD COOT so it takes me a lot longer to learn and convince my hands to do what I see her doing with ease.

What's next for you, btw?

Million times BRAVO!!!

What a great accomplishment!! WAY TO GO!!!

I can sign up for any low number toon CJ runs , as long as they are more or less GMT suitable hours (before 7PM CT, so that we're done by 3-4AM here lol ) I really would like to try that - I can easily stunn 4 cogs (5 eventually) but would really like to try how it goes with 3 -4 people runs (evidence refill , stress factor etc) I can bring my 2 toons for cog part if needed

Fantastic Job!!! Now you have Toontowns first mother / daughter solo team. You did a great job in the pie fight too. It’s hard to tell how the person behind the toon feels, but I got the sense that you just had to relax when you got him on the last platform and it would be a cinch for you. It looks like you did just that. Great job.
