squiddy is right a pink slip is when u get fired. Mabye it will be applications or reccomendations or something else related 2 getting a job or getting promoted

You bring in pink slips to fire the cogs, leaving you to be the only one promotable. (Far fetched but that would work).

Maybe it'll be changed to something like Diplomas (showing that you're qualified for promotion), golf balls (doubtful).. Oh oh oh.. Stocks. When you own stock, you have authority, so you get promoted a level. Maybe even Profit reports or Sales reports.
