Thumbs down

sorry that happend to you, but some toons cant handle having less than max toons available.

They assume that they are probably not going to win, so they just alt out. I see it happen countless times, even on street battles and sometimes buildings.

They may not be trying to be deliberatly mean, they just dont want to lose. Although alting in a battle will make you come back sad, and without gags anyway.

I myself dont mind going sad (nowadays), but back-in-the days, I didnt want to go sad only cuz I would have to buy more gags, and I didnt have that many jellybeans, or a big bank. So I might have done something similar like above back then. I know I alted out of a CFO crane battle once. It was in my personal opinion that because of the swarm of goons, and several toons already sad, that it was in my best interest just to alt out and save what gags I had left.

The attitude of that toon just shows an inability to work together to get the job done. Funny thing is he came back to the playground with no gags or laff just as he would if he had lost the battle with honest effort.

We finished a battle yesterday and hurried to the other side to help because they had lost two in the skellicogs round and just as we arrived one died and as we were lined up the monkey alted out. Dumb monkey. We finished their cogs and won the battle and got a BARNACLE BESSIE for our efforts. Woohoooo!!! We were three toons, one of which was only a 60+ laff.

i'm sorry that happened to you

Something I have noticed is that some toons tend to panic when a 100 laff + toon bails out or even more than one. This happens to me sometimes when I do the VP occasionly

Is it possible the toon got disconnected or did he say something before he left? Just curious.

I have found if I am in the busy districts I have a higher chance of disconnecting. Also, anything can happen. I once had a brief 3 sec power out at my house and I was discoed. Luckily, I was with friends and told them. But, the 68 certainly could have alted out. Who knows. Those things happen. Some of the best victories are when there are just a few toons left...It is like you beat the odds of winning.
