getting booted while in vp

has anyone had this problem. while battling the vp you get booted from toontown. i was just about ready to defeat the vp with 5 other toon when we got kicked off. the message read that toontown had to reset the district we were in(nuttyhills).i sent toontown a bug report with my complaint that we were just about to defeat the vp and that i wanted my toon advanced the 1 level for the victory that was in hand, and i got the generic response we can not advance toons and we are sorry for your incovienance and please enjoy playing toontown. well how can you enjoy playing when you are about to advance your toon and you get booted. THIS STINKS.

Yes I have tried like one a day for the last 3 days and got booted each time. Each time I was close to reaching the pie fight. Today I went back to try a second time and made it through the whole battle. These were random runs so couldnt tell if I was the only one who was being booted until today when I lost 2 on my team in the second cog battle shortly before I was booted

I remember Toontown closing down for maintenance, getting glitches, and just not working a few weeks ago. They were doing a lot of updating for the new HQ and w/e. They gave Toons a warning, but that does stink.
