Well how about, if they want to solve the puzzles, lets let them solve the puzzles, its their choice? If ppl know how it takes no longer
How about if they want to trigger Holocogs and cost us time because they wanted to do the puzzle (Even though the toons doesn't know how)so should I let them in any way get away with it? You bet not. I'm glad there's ways of glitching, it helps me speed up the run. It really is a horrible experience going thru the DA braindead trying to earn up those annoying JNS. Adding Holocogs just adds more to it. If you KNOW how to paly those puzzles then be my guest. If you trigger the cogs then goodbye to you because I'm ditching. I would've rather glitched then fight the cogs.

Why not?

I have done many many office Ds. I love to do the puzzles. Why? BOREDOM! Same reason I loved the day a soundless toon joined me on 4 runs (you know who you are, thanks so much!).

It is the same old, same old otherwise. Do I ever get caught in a puzzle and set off the halocogs? RARELY! Maybe, just maybe 10 times from the time I was a BF till now as a BW 47 (and my other toon a AC 8 so way too many office runs) If I get a minesweeper and am at a point where my next move has to be a guess based on there is no definate choice I will gladly tell a glitching toon, Sorry, I can't. and let them take care of it.

What steams me is when I am a step or 2 from finishing and a toon glitches, really is 1 or 2 steps that long? Can you not simply ask, Would you like some help?

Or my worst experience to date. When toons glitch I am sorry, but I don't have a phrase that says, please let me do a puzzle or 2. So I do the best I can with my limited speedchat phrases. I use a sad face or say Don't be mean! I mean no disrespect, I am trying to my limited abilities to let them know I get joy from the puzzles. (if this means I have no life, so be it, the life I am living is not one you want, I know that much.)

Using this method, I let a toon know I wanted to do the puzzles. I was told "Act your age!" Again I stated to this toon Don't be mean! This toon waits till 3 of us are engaged in battle and exits the office. To me this was totally uncalled for. I am happy to say the 3 of us stayed and finished the office with no difficulties.

I know of no way to let toons know before I am inside that I want to do the puzzles, but I do keep a list of the toons I know glitch and don't allow puzzle workers to play. Do I think these are bad toons? No way, just toons I do not want to DA with. And I am sure they probably don't want to DA with me either, as I will step in every puzzle for the joy of completing it.

If anyone has a better idea of how we can all get what we want out of a DA office I would love to hear it.

The game wasn't built for people to use cheats throughout. If you're in a DA with all friends, sf's particularly, then go ahead. If you and your frinds want to do that, then, and only then, should you be glitching. The whole point of the games is for peoples own entertainment, When these "glitchers" use the easy way out, they're ruining the fun for a lot of us.

How about this...

In the world of fogging cogs two universal phrases are "Sorry I can't" and "One more" and we all know what these mean. Let's make the universal phrase for asking to work the puzzles "Let's work together" - meaning the toon using this phrase at the puzzles wants to work the puzzles. This would stop the puzzle glitchers (like me) from assuming the toons want to avoid the puzzles.

Hey, it works great when using fogs.

Personally, I don't care one way or the other. If the glitching saves time, that's great, I'm all for it. But twice now I've been in the middle of working a puzzle and someone glitched it and I froze, my schticker book disappeared and I couldn't move to save my toon life. So I had no choice but to X out. The best part was when I ran back into the DA's office after logging back in, I was stinked by one that was in with me, and one of its friends that wasn't.
So if you're going to glitch, check the puzzles first to see if someone is in one.

Guilty of glitching.

I am Guilty of GLITCHING.

Queen Lily Bananasplat,

I know I have played with you a few times, and I would hope that in he event you were at the elevator on possibly your last 14400, that we could work together, instead of being brushed aside cause I can possibly glitch?

I won't kick and scream and stomp my feet over someones trying to do any of the puzzles. If I play on my laptop I am totally unable to glitch ANYTHING, and would be most thrilled with anyone elses capability of getting the show on the road! This really is the name of the game, to get thru without much ado...Isn't it?

Chuckle at Bessie Rule, and must be the Scout leader in me that wouldn't wanna leave anyone behind, though different situations may call for different actions.

Just a quick note...the reason you freeze when you are on the puzzle and a glitcher steps on the switch is that you are about to uncover a skull!! When you get the switch and a skull same time toons freeze. If you know how to do the skull finder puzzles..have at them... but dont guess and subject the other toons to fighting extra cogs that give no reward if someone is there who can glitch and get the switch! 14,400 is a long time in monotonous DA runs..better to get it over with than face even more cogs.

I glitch every DA I go into. But I only glitch the skull ones. Matching and 3 in a row I never glitch, because they're fun. The skull ones most of the time the cogs get triggered. When I'm doing high JN's I really don't want to spend 1hr+ because I have to fight holo cogs. About 90% of my runs include no holo cogs, because of me and other people who are able to glitch them. This has saved me alot of time, and I will continue doing it until I'am maxxed. Also if I see you TRIED the puzzle but failed, I will not ditch. But if your a person who runs strait through it, I wish you luck.

No. It was the puzzle where you change the pieces to either green squares or red triangles. I was nowhere near the skulls at the end of the row. It was this puzzle both times I froze. If I had known the toon was going to glitch I wouldn't have started the puzzles either time, but they were way behind me because they were talking to each other after we entered the office. So I figured, what the hey, I'll work the puzzle while I wait.

Well you haven't made my 'list' so I am sure I would run with you! My list isn't of all glitchers, it only includes those that refuse to allow any puzzles. (with the addition of 2 that liked to tell me "You stink!" for using 2 fogs, still a little lost there) I have many sfs that glitch, but politely refrain when running with me knowing it is as safe for me to do the puzzles as for them to glitch.

My personal 'list' is for me, and like I said, I don't not consider these toons bad toons, just not toons I want to DA with, I would gladly mint, factory, vp, cfo, and cj with any of them.

BTW, I am totally behind the bessie rule for myself, feel free to leave me the cogs if I set them off, oof, as I typed this, I set off a set! That is funny! Hmmm, maybe a nap is due.

Did a run today with Ear whacks, we were on the 1st floor and 3 of us hit the 1st set of cogs, we waited for the 4th toon and low and behold he was entering the elevator ???????????? for crying out loud what is going on with folks. as though the shuffle isnt bad enough.
THANK YOU. I Was In A DA D With A Few Other Toons, And they Glitched EVERY puzzle. I Mean, Its Cool To Glitch The Miners andA t S. But I LOVE The Matching And 3 in arow.

A lot of the kids like the puzzles, so if the run includes some kids and they want to do the puzzles, why not let them? We had a group the other night of 3 adults, 1 child. Although we adults would normally have glitched, we let the child do the puzzles, and it was so much fun to let the kid be the star of the run by doing all the puzzles for us.

And anyhow, sometimes the glitch takes awhile. In one recent "D" office run, four of us adults spent about 10 minutes trying to glitch before one of us finally popped through the wall. Whew!

Can't believe I spent 15 minutes of my life throwing myself repeatedly at a wall. LOL !!! What a crazy game.

Silly Sadie Beanbrains
I go to an empty district if I want to play the puzzles for practice, and I go in by myself. If I don't need any JN's or merits or bucks, I just go in to play. DA "A" office works well - I always hit puzzles there before any cogs. If I need laffpoints before I log off, sometimes I'll get the points by completing a couple puzzles. I get 5 points for the first completed puzzle I get through, and 10 for the second - that's 15 recovered laff points, and I can stay in the LBHQ and get them without going back to the playground. When I get the first 2 puzzles done, then it's cogs - so just go back to the playground before you hit the cogs if you don't have the confidence to survive it alone. Piece of cake. If I'm doing puzzles with a group and someone breaks through and glitches before I'm done, so be it. It's a faster DA run for us. If I finish the puzzle first, I enjoy the kudo's. Either way, it seems like a win/win situation all around.
