Clueless in the DA's D Office
No pride or shame here...
I just finished DA offce D with 3 really cool toons...fun run but when we were standing in front of the very last two cogs on the top floor of the office, curious things began to happen...I was told: "Wait"...All the toons then began to use TU ...singly and together...all this when we were fully tooned and then would lure the cogs ~then stand there, then TU etc...and appeared anxious to get hit...as if the 115, 113 and 122 laffers wanted to work their TU gags to max...hmmm... Also some doodle calling...as if we just ran that DA run to train doodles at the end...hmmmm~this process continued on and on..so~ not wanting to ruin this obscure ritual...i did stuff around me (sorted mail leafed thru a catalog etc) for about 20 minutes...when i would pick a gag...they would say: wait ...during which i even said "ill be back"...they told me no problem so i went and got lunch and returned! they were still at it... Maybe every other toon knows the why of this...but when I would ask: "Whats up?" they responded "I need more jury notices.""...hmm..ya mean that process of waiting and TU gets ya more notices? *confused* OK, i DO have some pride..I tried to pm Berry Cute Bunny to resolve my confusion in private but..hey, Bunny~you have maxxed your message space...so, actually, i have more curiosity than pride or shame! HAHA! Could someone please enlighten me and explain...i am new to this DA office stuff...and maybe missed the post.. There is probably a reasonable explanation for this...but oh, well...  TIA, PLW

LOL that was pretty funny..I don't think i could have held out that long not knowing what was going on that would seem like torture to me..Well by your explaintion it seems that you haven't done too many DA's or been in many not that this is a problem..For example, say you were in a DA D which gives you approximately 924notices (ball park range i don't pay attention to notices hehe) w/o a invasion,however, we toons have come to find out that if a invasion is used before you kill the last set of cogs of the DA,mints or facs you get double credit for all the cogs defeated before invasion ends which is a little over 1500 (another ball park range)..I must say that you have a pretty high tolerance due to you not knowing what was going on..this was too funny how you went to lunch and came back great post...enjoy and take care..

 Hi i think i was the 122 lp... we needed jns and were waiting for an invasion... im sorry for making you wait! we were trying to kill time until someone called one! again sorry for making you wait hun!a run without invasion only about 900 jns... a run with an invasion about 1500 jns or more! was it that long? Oh my word!!! about 20min... to funny! i really couldnt believe it took so long.. right after that i changed districts!!! |

LOL! We had to do this tonight too, also calling our doodles to kill time. It's great when you can get the team to understand through speedchat that you need to wait.

Yeah. Imagine getting 3500 merits in about 2 hours. I stuck it out for merits and woo hoo! Time to VP for my laff. Im enjoying my new 115.

Really, that was a great post. I probably would have done the same thing - waited with them. After getting to the end, NO WAY would I have left either. Some say the CJ is boring... I say bring it on! I wasn't in that run but have been in the same situation.
I also want to thank you for your great attitude. I am not a fan of the doodle toon up, never have been. But I know that it is just a way to kill time and have some fun. Thanks again and I hope to play with you and people like you. |
