I have gone to the VP with as little as 45 laff with the CCG and still won. Heck, I was taking up a spot stunning the VP by his rear hatch, and I came out with about 20 of those 45 laff points still intact. So it is not really a matter of your laff points, but your skill level. (BTW, this story was about my second toon. It took me five tries at 50 laff to win for the first time on my first toon.)

How's that for highlighting?

Dude that is a HORRIBLE idea. You are not helping the team at all and the help of someone else pushing back the VP is very much needed in a struggle. My advice for you is to immediately at the beginning, grab some pies. At the beginning, everything is easy for the VP so just wait for the backstunners to get him dizzy. Then, start pressing the insert key wildly but still a little controlled. If I am pushing in the front, I like to go up to him and start tapping because that brings the power meter up to a little below full height. That way, when he wakes up and does the spinning cog throw, you can hide next to his undercarrage and you won't get hit. Keep coming up close and pushing him back and you will probably win with some good stunners. Good luck!

Ummm - yeah we can - but you aren't going to learn much that way. I have always learned more from a loss than a easy win. Try starting out by driving the VP back (you can stay clear of the flying gears) and leave the stunning to toons with more experience. When you get a little bit more experience then you too can try stunning. The biggest lp loss comes from the jumping. Keep your volume up and listening for his warning sound. Other than that - keep trying. And do check out the CCG runs times. PM your toon's name and I will be watching for you. I am starting on another 5500 merits so it may be a few days before I get there, but I would love to help you out.

It is the cold callers quild. Its main purpose is to eliminate shuffle and agreeing to load with any suit level.

Maybe you should go with an SF and when you're low on laff, tell your SF to throw pies at you. There needs to be a speedchat phrase, "I'm low on laff, throw pies at me please!." xD

Don't be shy or wait til it's too late to ask for a toon up. I myself tend to get a little too involved, and I don't pay attention to my laff til its too late....lol. Throwing a few pies at you would only take a sec.
