I was in a CJ last night and also saw a toon that appeared to be doing nothing. Since we were doing fine I just did my part and didn't worry about it.

While dancing some toons told this toon that he/she had done well.

Not sure if they were actually complimenting or just being kind.

I had another experience yesterday where a toon wasn't happy with the way things were going so he/she baled on us during the cog round. Again no problem since 6 or 7 toons CJs are not that bad.

I want to try to adopt the policy that if I can't say somthing kind then say nothing at all. It will be a challenge when I am working on my JNs but can't get in the DA.

Last night in one of the CCG's CJ battles, I was hitting the scale and there was a toon (who is awesome btw) seeming to just stand there doing nothing and the next thing I noticed he was off to gather more evidence and when he came back, the same thing happened.
I have heard of this problem that it looks as tho someone isn't doing anything but they really are.
We might want to keep this into consideration because the toon that was with me at the scale is definitely not a slacker in any means.

The other day, I was in a CJ with you (OP), and I noticed you standing facing the CJ and not doing anything. Perhaps you were lagging (not sure?) but just after that you weren't there anymore. When you disappeared one of the other scalers got spooked and bailed as well. When he did that, a stunner got spooked as well and bailed. We attempted to continue with 4 for a while, but alas no one's heart was in it.

Perhaps you lagged during that CJ as well? During the heat of battle it's hard for someone to tell whether someone is lagged or simply purposely not contributing.

Just a thought.

PS... I guess you didn't understand in the DA a little prior to that CJ... when you are at the clerk, and the invasion ends, when toons say, "Wait a minute" or "wait!" it means they need the invasion bonus on jury notices, and would like to wait to see if another invasion gets called. Killing the cogs solo because you need less than a D without invasions and then saying "Don't worry No problem" comes across as pretty inconsiderate.
i probably got disconected. sometimes i lag quit a bit in CJs, and ive gotten disconnected in about 3 CJs one day. i dont know why but its only in CJs and DAs.

and i did know that you guys were waiting for an invasion. but there was 1 cog left so it couldnt of given you very many JNs, right? i was in a hurry to, i had to go......so sorry bout that.

Actually as long as you don't kill the last cog until after the invasion starts you get double.

I had this same experience on Saturday - a toon at the scales appeared to just be standing there doing nothing. I clicked and whispered "Can you help me?" and "Let's go!" and the toon responded with "Huh?" On closer examination, I noticed the toon was running for evidence on about the same timing as I was - and I was throwing at the scale like a maniac.
I think that the lag sometimes shows toons as not moving when, in fact, they are playing as hard as anyone else is.
Something to keep in mind....
As far as the comments made to other toons in the CJ, I've been known to make remarks like "Move, we can't hit the scale" or whatever that is, to friends as a joke - but wouldn't to a toon I didn't know. If you see that happening among groups of sf toons, it may be goofing off instead of being mean. I mean, I even say "throw a safe now" when my sweetie is dancing in the cfo.....

the move out of the way thing when i was dancing wasnt even really part of it. it was mostly when i was in the cog and evidince throwing parts.

and i do joke with some people to with that phrase, but i dont know these toons......

Do you realize it does not matter about the 4 cogs at the end. What matters is you need an invasion on when the very last cog blows up and you start to dance. It means the difference of 924 notices without the invasion or 1542 with the invasion. Maybe when your the one needing 14400 and someone kills the cogs befor you get the invasion you will have a better understanding of how much it ***** when people do that.
