well seriously speaking: the reason why u might have this impression is very simple - most of test account holders are adults, which of course makes them to b more sensfull players comparing to open - where majority is kids. You have a lot of great players on open too, just that since the total number of players is 10 times bigger than on test - the procentage of skilled players is less of course. If a 19 laffer would b able to get his suit on open - believe me he/she would also make it with good groups, as I mentioned, now, most of the times u finish CJ with full lafometer , even when u go with randoms. As a prove of great skills and teamwork : all ubbers and super ubbers (35 lp and under for VP, 75lp and under for CFO) Mr HWs and RBs u see on open. Though, In general I agree with u, I would avoid going into a bullion with a soundless toon myself if I'm doing my 8900 bux runs. However, I really hope that higher laffers, experienced player (especially adults) would stop jumping out of elevators judging apriori skills of this or that player by his/her laff and suit level. Yes you do take more risks by going with newbies. Happened to me several times to finish with suiciding banana peel trap and sound trainers, using their low gags on high level cogs - as a result everybody finishes bending back to playground. Yet often u have good surprizes, finding urself with courageous , willing to learn low laffers. Just "Use the speed chat" guide them - will help to avoid many mistakes. Few times it happened to me, for example, to "duo" cog part and then crane part at cfo with 85 and 75 laffer after everyone bailed from the elevator and to have under 50 laffers on the "first line" of the pie fight at VP. It was spectacular! So as a resume of all above: Give low laffers a chance!

Fortunately, in the last year my life has changed to the point where I have more frequent access to tt and get to 'play' on a more regular basis. Hope to get to cross paths more than just, "Hi there!", "How are you doing?", "What toontask are you working on?", and "Would you like some help?","No?", "Ok", "Good Luck" as you now toon your way thru LBHQ. Us little toons (110+ lps!) are still here for you, even tho you've raced on ahead w/o us. Just ask Sara and Z, they know! lol Last edited by Wildberry; 05-23-2006 at 08:17 PM. |
