Look....I have ran Office "D" at least 10 times it always has 6 floors with 48 real cogs the amount of puzzles has changed and what floor the puzzles are on. I ran Office "A" 3 times today and got 3 floors all three runs.
I suggest you keep track of the floors and the cogs on Paper. Here is what you should see each run in Office "D" Set 1 Cogs: 10 10 11 11 Set 2 Cogs: 11 11 11 12 Lazer or Holo Cogs: 10 10 11 11 and 10 10 11 11 if you get any that floor. This is how the Office "A" runs would look on Paper Floor 1 Set 1: 10 10 11 11 Set 2: 11 11 11 12 Floor 2 Holo Cogs/Puzzles Set 1: 10 10 11 11 Set 2: 11 11 11 12 Floor 3 Set 1: 10 10 11 11 Holo Cogs/Puzzles Set 2: 11 11 11 12 Try keeping track with paper and not you mind the floors are all most the same so they can run together in your mind and fighting the Holo cogs can make it seem as if there are more floors. Add to that talking to friends or having a low laffer with you sounding lures and trapping with marbles can make the floors seem like you have done 5 even when you only really did 3. |

C.P., I think by these posts, it's safe to say that we should never do a D Office without about 10 TU or Restock Unites/S.O.S.'s. B was bad enough.

B office can be 5 floors
I did a B Office yesterday, it had 5 floors and 52 cogs (not including the Laser cogs a toon in the group keep tripping, since they don't count towards summons/gags/tasks). First floor didn't have puzzles, but the other four did. We hit a total of 7 sets of laser cogs (I deactivated the last puzzle so we didn't have to fight the 8th), so we took out 80 cogs total. You know the offices, those were all lvl 10&11 and five lvl 12's (one for each of the floors). I did end up using a gag-up all Unite phrase, we never would have made it through without it.
I've only been through the one office once, so I can't say if the floor count varies in the same office different times you go in. All I know is the one we went in definitely had 5 floors. |

1st floor - 1x 2nd floor - 1.5x 3rd floor - 2x (same as factory or coin mint) 4th floor - 2.5x (same as dollar mint) 5th floor - 3x (same as buillion mint) 6th floor - 3.5x (?) 7th floor - 4x (?) 8th floor - 4.5x (?) So, using that logic, using a birthday cake on the 8th floor would get you 6 x 4.5, or 27 pts? Then again, if you're going in the mint, your gags had better already be maxxed, so I guess it really doesn't matter

Nice copy.
But now that I finally did a DA, I understand them a bit better. But, Who is the "Boss," Of the office? |

I did a D floor last night with a bunch of other toons, and there were at LEAST 7 floors in it. We were there over an hour and a half! We were using all the gags known to man (not many restocks there, sadly!)
I used all the SOS restock various gag thingies, and TOW restocks, and finally out of desperation, I used my Professor Pete Restock ALL SOS card. Finally when we were met with elevator after elevator and never got to the end, we said "Let's go back to the playground" and mutually bailed. Phew! I was very disappointed. I had not done my 'homework' ahead of time so I did not know what to expect. I thought maybe since we tripped EVERY holocog group (could NOT figure out those games!) that maybe we were being punished with extra floors. That being said, I was with an awesome group of strangers who worked very well together, despite Sound and Lure misses, we were an aweseom bunch and would have kept it up if we knew the end was near, but frankly by that point we were BORED and I needed to go to bed, besides. I was also wondering if HQ was buggy. Last but not least - when I went to HQ< everyone was crowded around the D elevator, so I (wrongly) figured that D would be the EASIEST floor. (Like, you get an A if you work hard, and D is a bad grade). But...now I know. THANK GOODNESS for this forum, you guys all ROCK. |
