What in the world possesses a 52 to dictate what the high level toon should use on EVERY round? As if they have discovered some magic strategy that escapes someone who has spent hundreds of hours playing this game.

This is what I find most humorous: the "Bossy Toon". LOL. Just yesterday Dlite & I were getting suit peices and we had two 40-50 laffers. The 40 laffer kept dictating to us, (and I'm sorry if this sounds stuck-up but it's true) the two toons that would probably keep him/her alive, what WE should do. It started out as "Let's use throw". Ummm...no! Excuse me! Two elephant trunks took them all out. Why would I want to kill them one at a time? So me, Dlite & the 50 laffer all pulled out our sound gags & bye-bye cogs. Now before you say maybe she was working sound or trying to get a cream pie: Even if she was, most of you know you don't get credit or floor mulitpliers half the time for gags, so why worry about it in the factory? Work that kind of stuff in a building!. Ok, then she says "Let's stay together." "Follow me". Ok, I'm usually up for a challenge but I had a bad experience following a lower laffer right into the paint mixers. See, I have never went that route & lost like half my laff points following him/her. So, I was in front of him/her. Dlite went through the lookout shortcut, as was planned. That way we have at least one toon with most of their laff points who can toon the rest of us who went through the Boiler room. The bossiness kept going throughout. "Let's use lure" "Let's use throw". Frankly, at that point I'm starting use ANYTHING BUT what she says. You know what she does when we get to the center silo? She says "Let's use sound." Ok, sure. I told Dlite, if she wants sound we'll give it to her. By this point, I wanted to let her know what the consequences of her decisions were. And she was down pretty low. At the end I asked her "Are you new here?" She said "No". I said "Yeah!" "Me too."...sigh.
Also, what you said about choosing your friends is true. Choose friends that are more in your laff range because they will be working on similar tasks. And I can guarantee you will find a group who you are happy to do buildings with all the time. They will become essentially your toon buddies. And probably people you can call on all the time. A high laffer may have generic tasks but they have done the same: accumulated good toon friends over the time they've maxxed out their toon. Likely, they are going to want to play with them most of the time. I, too, find it funny that someone comes up to me, usually a newbie, and says "Please be my friend!" even though the message says "Bunny Summers has too many friends on her list". They will speedchat or even worse, use the secret friends chat over & over, and say "Please be my friend!" repeatedly even though you say "Sorry, I can't". It's like they expect you to suddenly LIKE them because they are being annoying. Like the example of standing in front of you when you're fishing. I, personally, say nothing to them & they usually go away. But still...why do they treat people that way & suddenly EXPECT that they'll want to be friends with you? IRL, if someone came up to me & kept repeatedly asking to be my friend it would make me want to avoid them MORE!!!
