a.)The VP can jump(-10), spin out gears,(-3) and throw gears at you(-3).[If he sits down, and swings his arm aroun fast, get back..you'll lose 5 laff if he hits you. Also, if you run into the VP(just don't do it lol) you lose 1 laff.] The part we're concerned about is when he throws gears at you. He will only throw them at you if you're close enough. There are toons who can stun the VP from up close. You'll know if they're close stunning if they stand in front of the VP cage, but a little to left. For the benefit of the whole group, these toons shouldn't get hit. BUT, because they are so close to the VP, he will throw gears at them often..especially if all the other toons are too far; this causes the VP to ONLY throw gears at the stunning toon, while the cage opens and closes and everyone loses a chance to push back the VP. try to stay close enough to hit the VP, you'll be able to dodge the gears pretty easily.(you'll know when hes about to throw them at you because he pauses and faces one direction then shoots.)
b.) THE VP WILL ONLY JUMP CONTINOUSLY WHEN HE CANT THROW GEARS AT TOONS. Have you ever witnessed the VP jump again and again and again? This is because he has nobody to throw his gears at. It's fine for a few toons to stay back and toon-up if they really need it, but if nobody is even paying attention to the VP, he'll just jump more often, and you'll lose ground, and probably more laffpoints than you get from the toon-ups. If the VP is throwing gears, he isn't jumping. (I know this from experiance, I've seen it happen way too many times not to notice.)
c.)Help! Please don't stay away and do nothing. All you'll get is stinkys and very bad feelings directed at you. Freeloaders are some of the worst kind of toons. Trust me, you'll make many more friends helping out.
If i left anything out, please feel free to add stuff.
Good luck in your future VPs!

yeah, all good stuff... the gears he spits out of the box are -2....

also when you are tossing the pie the pie meter fills. More blue, means a higher arc to the trajectory, while a release with less blue is a straighter shot. If you tap your insert key you will release at about 50%. This is a modest shot and that will let you do your part driving it over the edge. I dont even use the high arc, but the straight shot is vital and fun. The trick is you have to hold it all the way up and back down. But with lag the time varies. I hold for much less than a second before release for the straight shot.

If a toon makes the jumps when the vp does, they will live. If they dont know how to dodge the obsticles, they should throw from out of range.

if you stun from up close properly you will only get hit by the -2s from the box. From the back there are only those and the occasional spitting of gears to worry about.

If you are stunning from up close PLEASE be off to the side. People stun from further off and they arent trying to feed you pies.

If you are stunning from up close you can avoid the 'spit' gears by taking one to two steps forward after he aims.

If you are stunning from up close in the front, the attack of concern is the other -3 point attack, the 'net' of gears that he throws out when he spins. You can avoid that if you are up VERY close in the front. If he opens his door then you will take -1. Step up to dodge when he spins and then back again into position right away... he could open at any second and you might have a chance to take that shot!

The remaining trick, besides patience and timing, to stunning from up close is avoiding the gears from the box. I would like to help but I dont know how to do it. Sometimes they come out from left to right, other times left to right. They spread out as they travel so being slightly further back lessens your chance of getting hit but also requires better timing on the shot. For me, it takes -2 points almost every time the door opens, even if I make the shot most of the time the -2 point shot will still hit.

If you only take the -2 point hits you will surely live if it is moving at all.

The VP is alot of fun, not as many people stun from close anymore... go figure...

thats all I might think of...
