Yes...the fix to the emotion problem is to get them to not be stuck in "disbled" mode. One thing I noticed is you cannot use emotes during the "happy dance" after battle.

If you are whispering to someone, you can still send emotions, but the "e" is grayed out (this is how it is on production and test) -- this is because you can't really send an animation through whisper, but you do see a green box on your screen -- "ToonHead shrugs".

One thing I did notice on Test was it appears to be a rewrite of the emotion control code (ie when they are available, when they aren't, etc). Emotions are disabled and enabled more concientously (if that makes any sense)

According to support, the bug was that emotions would get "stuck" in a disabled mode. However, if you change districts, the would sometimes be re-enabled. But switching back, they would be disabled again -- for example, if you're in Nuttyboro and emotions are disabled, you could switch to Wackyboro and they would work again; switch back to Nuttyboro and emotions would be disbled again.

The test server code seems to have more control over the enable/disable process for emotions.
