Yea groups get formed fairly easy and end up pretty rock-solid, to the point of
insecurity. It's that pack mentality that effects everyone. The 'mode' kicks in,
the cyclical frenzy combined with toon/playstyle familiarity that comes out of
several runs together. When a 9th wheel shows up, rarely if ever will someone
volunteer to bow out once they're deep in the mode. Nobody wants the group
to 'break up' because someone else wants to go. It's not an excuse, just an
explanation. I'm sure nobody in that group meant ill-will toward you specifically
KK, just didn't want to break up their routine.
Sorry that happened. Since there are so many people playing in the CFO
battle, it sure would be nice for groups to split in half and reform into 2 new full
groups when that happens. It seems to me that finding 3 or 4 toons for each
group would be a lot easier than for one toon to find 7 when he/she's all alone.
