By all means read Loosy Goosy's guide on the subject, and the others too!
Basicly - Camping is the Intentional prolonging of combat by a group of toons, to squeeze out every last bit of experience that can be gotten in a building or other location. By using exclusively low level gags so that you get in more "Points" per damage to the cog. Loosy's guide is a very intense way to raise your gags as fast as possible by maximizing experience at the expense of time and jelly beans.
An example:
Suppose you just got lure and sound, ( or didn't have either past the second gag) You and a frined work your way to the top floor of a building and red magnet lure/whistle repeatably the last few cogs ( both gags you have completely stocked up on... A third and 4th toon, do little other than toon-ups, and perhaps toss on a higher level blue magnet to assist your own red magnet etc. You can literally spend HOURS at this in a single building and as Loosy says in another post in this thread, get a HUGE amount of experience points...
My own "manual" really isn't about camping, but more of a practical guide to combat with a mix of friends and strangers, who may not either be aware of the practice, have the time or inclination to do it, or simply "Panic" when they encounter a high level cog. It's more a simple guideline to avoid "stalling" in combat, and to promote better teamwork in more open general play.
