Beans!
The jellybean rewards have been raised through the roof. After doing one Elder Task (take <25 Laffer through 3-floor building for 600 beans), I was offered 1,200 beans for 80 Cogs (any type, anywhere). The most I was offered was 1,250 beans for 250 Cogs (duh!).
It's funny that the hardest thing to find on Test is a noobie toon to do the Elder Tasks with. :S
