I have met a few toons without toon up over my time at test and on open. Some of the toonless wonders will actually tell you up front that they don't have toon up. They'll say "Let's use toon up" and "sorry I can't". They give you the option of taking a chance or passing.It means a lot to me when the say it right up front. And generally speaking, they play very strategically so that you don't end up getting killed and no they don't constantly ask for toon ups. And generally speaking the have very high gags.

It's the new toons that have shown up with the release of the Cash Mint that have no toon up and don't really seem to care if anyone else makes it except for that that a lot of people are talking about. Players that have a lot of experience can get away without having toon up.

But let me ask one question of those 'more experienced' toons that don't have toon up and chose not to get it. Do you make a habit of helping smaller, inexperienced players? I really don't see how you can help smaller toons with less experience stay alive if you don't have toon up. Does that mean when someone asks you to help them go through the fac. You have to cross your fingers that no lure misses? Or that every gag hits?

It's a discussion about not being able to get 'much needed' aid when you need it. It's not whining. +
