After hearing for a year about how nice and friendly everyone is on test, I have to say...

NOT TRUE

Either it used to be that way, and new testers have tainted it, or people had the wool pulled over their eyes. I have seen most of the bad behaviour I witness on open, all in the month I have been on test.

For example, today, I spent literally the whole day looking for 4 story bldgs to complete the "defeat 5 4 story buildings" for my 50 gag bag, with the added ouch of 2 4 story bosses needed and 3 4 story cash needed for other tasks in the brrgh. Had a non s-f who is still in DD helping me look, since none of the 49 other friends I have seemed to want to help. Made a new friend who needed help too, and we found a 4 story cash. So I called my friend who had been helping me all day, but before she got there another toon showed up, so I said let's wait for my friend, and then so did she. OK, so my smaller laff friend didn't need that building, and maybe these other two toons did. I apologized to my friend, she said no problem, and we went into the building. However, the two toons who weren't my friends were being rather selfish with gags (something which is rather a pet peeve of mine...) using trap and lure only. So, ok, I can handle not working those gags, so I threw a pie at a different cog and killed it... and was told "Let's all go for the same cog". So I guess I am supposed to pass? Let you trap each time, not use trap myself, and pass cause you want the gag experience on that level 6 cog I took out alone. Ugh.

So onward. YAY, I finally found a 4 story boss, after having a task for days to defeat only 2 of them. Quickly 4 toons are in front of it, one saying she needs to defeat some buildings in the brrgh, and two who are clones saying "I need 6 lumpy cheeses from the Big Cheeses" and the other saying Yes. Ok, we go in... there is a big cheese there. The toon keeps saying his task over and over again, and then they start saying, let's go back to the playground, meet here.

So I am supposed to take the chance of not getting my task done, which I have been trying to get done for days, just because they wanted to take the easy road (equivalent to cheating in my mind...)? If I had gone ahead with the other toon who needed that building too and defeated the thing, I would have been labeled the bad guy. But there was no guarantee if I left with them that it would still be there when I got back. Correct me if I am wrong, but do you HAVE to get lumpy cheeses from a 4 story building in the brrgh? Or could you maybe find a building in, say, Donald's dock, that has a big cheese and pull your little stunt there?

This is just an example of what has happened tonight. I know, I know, get a thicker skin, the world is a terrible place, deal with it.

But the next time someone tells me how test is such a peaceful place, so much better than open, I think I will recommend they get off the sauce.

And by the way, I alt f4'd out of there. Thank you, I know you read these boards. I am not a kid, but you did hurt my feelings enough that I cried.
