But also feel when the new HQ comes out they should not give any experience gag points to anyone or credit for the cogs they need for toontasks that way they will not be able to build there gag points there!!! It should keep most of the toons who are not maxed out of the HQ if they do come they will learn the first time around they get no experience points for gags or no cogs for ther toontasks. I can understand where Prof. Loony (my hubby
) is coming from to an extent. We've tossed a few ideas about this due to the parts (mostly 4) and 5500 merits we've had to regain before we could go back thru and promo again. (Yes, we could alt f4 and not gain the promo but we were working for the HW50 status) We've found the time runs are alot faster if we can run thru sound and get out. (with 3 toons using sound we've completed in a 15 min period.) But when we go in with toons who are working gags then it tends to delay the time sometimes taking up to 35-40 minutes a run. Now mind you neither of us mind helping a toon work his way up but sometimes when you only have an hour or two to play then it can tend to get a little stressing, especially knowing you have another 7 full runs ahead of you before you get to go back in with the vp.
Maybe, as an alternate suggestion, we could name a district known for merit runs. I think that would cut down on alot of hassle (also in all reality probably wouldn't work but...). I understand that alot of newer players do not yet know the hassle of the run after run after run after run just to get back in there and fight the vp but once to that HW level it becomes clear, you want to get in and get out and go back to the vp.
Anyway, just thought I'd add my 2c
