If they can't go in or do whatever else a paying member can, then they are free. But yes, a different font automatically makes them a paying member, so that's the easiest to do. It's nice to know when you're getting friend requests.

Actually, ToonTown for free members was expanded. So, that's not actually true anymore. Free toons can go almost anywhere. It used to be like that, you know...But it changed. So yeah. You can't tell it by that either. But just look at gags laff and nametag and you can pretty much figure it out.
