No, I think it's fine. It promotes teamwork, yes, and usually by the time drop comes, most cogs may be unstunned. I know there's lag which may be a reason, but still, you need to pay attention and get help. If you could hit a lured cog with drop, it wouldn't be as fun and would be easy to work, IMO.
