I really don't see how we can be geeks if we type well. Most everyone on here plays some type of sport/activity. We've got real life friends, some people even have families to take care of. We may have learned how to type and talk correctly, but that doesn't mean we're bland.

I agree some what with you both..
I like good grammer and think more people should use it, but I can also deal with typing errors and shorthand without any problem at all. Just because someone takes the time to spell the way they should doesn't mean that they are geeky or bland (okay okay, I'm a bit of a bookworm but its not the samething is it?).
I just don't like it when people do stuff like this: gr8 and 4evr ect.
