My main toon is soundless, and I've not actually found it to be more challenging than people seem to think.

I've only been griefed a few times. Quite often I find myself with three sound toons, and unless you get some toon who deliberately insists on using sound in the wrong way, it is actually pretty efficient. I wouldn't use this as a reason against choosing soundless.

That being said, I think dropless is best.

Drop has limited usefulness (pianos only), and its use is often abused and uneccessary (e.g. choosing a piano on a lured cog), and is hardest to train.
