Between my and my children's toons, we have maxxed trap on 3 and maxxed drop on 2. My very first toon had trap and I found it difficult to train because of the necessity of the second gag and I would only use it during play if it had sufficient damage to defeat the cog. The second had drop, and I actually found that easier to max even with the misses, but I did it soloing 3-story buildings, literally dropping every cog if and until I ran out of drop gags.
I, or we, maxxed the trap and drop gags on the other toons by running 2 at a time (separate accounts). I chose building or cog tasks, and defeated 4- and 5-story buildings, using the gags I was concentrating on maxxing on the 4th and 5th floors for more experience points. I still found drop was easier for me at least because of the ability to solo more easily.
