Sunday and Monday this week have been brutal in Nutty River. I've stood at an open door for about 15 seconds before going in, standing at an active golf cart and not jumping in until the timer reaches 0, etc. I won't be doing a CEO again until the latency dies down, because many features of it are being affected.
If you still want to try one in these awful times, here's a tip: If you touch a can of food but you don't pick it up, keep walking toward the Cog. It will fly toward you through the air eventually. The same works for Cogs. If you touch them and they don't take the food, just walk back to the conveyor belt. It also works for snacks during the seltzer round.
