Please disable the goons

You all must think I'm a griefer for saying, "Please disable the goons" all the time in CFO today. I wasn't trying to be mean, though I'm sure some folks were annoyed. I want to win, yes, but I want you to win, too. I was on my best PC, so I was craning really well, but I kept getting knocked off my crane. It was clear the stompers were dedicated. One toon stood nose to nose with the CFO ready to pounce on any goon that dared to pop out of him (and yes it was a cat toon!) Only this toon didn't look around at all. When I stomp, I dedicate myself to one craner and keep MOVING. Is there a goon coming out? Is there a goon behind me, creeping up on the craner? Is the CFO about to "gear" my craner? If "your" craner is connecting, you need to keep him/her from getting knocked off that crane! You need to keep his/her focus not on that goon that is about to hit them for -24 damage, but on keeping safes from falling from the ceiling onto the big guy's head.

I am NOT saying it is easy to stomp. It is JUST as hard to be a good stomper as it is to be a good craner. BOTH are needed to win. Stomping is hard, especially near the end. That is why when it is easier, nearer the beginning you have to really work hard to stomp everything that moves.

I am not complaining. I win 9 times out of 10 that I go to CFO. When I do lose, it is often because of bad stomping. Sometimes that bad stomping is mine. Your PC and connection can affect your ability to properly ineract with the goons and cranes. So we need to understand that some toons are trying their darndest and still miss their stomps half the time. PC and connection aside, always look around, always protect the craners, always try to block the CFO from gearing them. (If you ever see me jumping wildly about as I stomp, that is what I am trying to do!)

OK, I have lectured you all long enough. Like your moms, I am telling you this because I love you, and I want you to win (and If I win, too, so much the better!)
