I thought it was my computer also - not the most up-to-date machine - but I've been experiencing the same things described above LATELY. And not just in BBHQ, although I had a wild ride through the CEO last night, which I've read about but never experienced:
During the cog battle round, the cogs appeared, you selected your gag, then, while everything happened normally, it didn't show, so the next second, you were back to cogs appearing and selecting gags. The laff points went up or down accordingly, but the cog battle round went extremely fast because there were no impacts, no explosions, no toons taking turns firing gags. It just all happened behind the scenes. Weird but true!
