*We race through the cogs (stinkers take their time and goof around with gag selections) We hope to extend our practice as much as possible on the crane part.
* Happy hoppin goonie stompers will protect craners and fill the room with treasures. These can be people who usually crane and want to learn to stomp better or experts who want to help other people get a chance at learning to crane. (Let me know if you are just learning to stomp so I ballance the team for success and place you with experienced players.)
* Craners can be people who have never craned before or people who would like more practice. This is an opportunity to get the wildly swinging crane under better control. We'll take as long as possible to destroy the CFO so craners get time to practice moving safes to other players, throwing goons, removing helmets with great safe tosses, and gaining confidence.
* Teams are usually made up on Friday, and I try to ballance the elevator load. You'll meet your leader at a designated place inside the CFO loading lobby, and follow the leader on the elevator. You can exchange codes via pms if you want with the leader or one of the stompers, who can give you tips. There's not much time for typing, but sometimes it's been helpful. The team lists will be posted so check in this thread for your team assignments.
* It's been helpful to read all the tips before the run, if it's your first time, or you've never been successful on the crane before. There are videos and tips for getting the swing under control that can be very helpful.
On Saturday, the team leaders will pm the secret district and any tips they have or sf codes (if they choose) to their team members. (I can't choose a district early, since I don't know which district Disney will fill with randoms and turn green. We want an EMPTY distrcit.) We'll gather in corners of the CFO lobby surrounding each assigned team leader. We come early, and meet inside (wow! that's different!) and when the leader says, "let's go" the team goes up and on the elevator. We don't intermingle the teams, we load one at a time, so we keep the ballance of stompers and craners intact. The first team to have all signed up members circling their leader gets to load first. Yes, they've been known to board before the designated time, because everybody was present (Wow! another unusual non CCG difference!) If the teammates forget to come for the run, the back ups fill in for them, so the team won't have difficulty with the cogs or goons.

Best way to control the wild swing is to pull the crane back over your head and redirect it at the goon. Move forward straight at the goon with the magnet (control key) down, and then when you have it, pull straight back again and move forward toward the cfo's head.
If it releases with a soft "pfft" noise and bounces off his chest without hitting his head for points it means you released too soon. Just regrab it and pull all the way back again, and get a run at it. Next time release later...maybe even imagining that you'll hit him in the eyebrows or hair line. If he sits, it might sail over his head, but that's ok. Maybe they need more goons on the other side. There will be another out of the box soon.
Many grab their safes and put them in easy reach for when he gets dizzy (on a training run, we don't hit him with safe when he's dizzy.) It's nice to practice passing them too, because the most dangerous CFO battles are lost when the safes accumulate around a craner and he gets a helmet that nobody on a crane is able to remove (since they can't reach any safes to remove it with.)
Please don't let a safe sit in front of the door because goons self-explode when they come out. It means the craners on that side have nothing to do to help, and the stompers on the other side are gonna get mobbed with goon swarms as twice the goons start exiting on them. It's a neat trick when you solo, and only want goons swarming out of one side, but you can save it for advanced training instead of this beginner training run.
Please keep an eye on your laff so our stompers don't feel the need to use a unite. There ought to be plenty of treasures laying about the floor since the stompers who signed up are incredibly tallented. Step off the crane and refill once in awhile. Don't worry, you can have your crane place back; nobody will take it.

Special Notes for everybody:
Please make space for your district pm, arrive early, meet inside.
Let's work on safes first, practice removing & passing. Try not to destroy goons while practicing safes so the game does not progress in difficulty. We enjoy the stress-free yellow goon stage, and we'd like to prolong that if possible.
Although normally we hit a dizzy stunned boss with safes, it causes high points, so let's not safe him when dizzy, just goon him so the game progresses slowly for maximum practice time.
If red goons start swarming, it's a great time to ask one of the stompers to take the crane and end the run before anybody takes too much damage. The room should be loaded with treasures, and if it is not, and it's becoming dangerous, it's time to trade places and let the stompers on the cranes for a final hit. I suggest that the stompers each protect one craner, work their quadrant and not run around, but keep a close eye on the laff of their craner, and give tips when they seem appropriate.
I'll check for empty districts Saturday about 2 hours before the run and pm the district to the team leaders who will pm them to their team members. At one hour before the runtime, you should have a district pm in your box.
Please do not invite friends to this run. Each team is carefully put together and there will not be a place on the elevator for a friend to come along who hasn't signed up and been placed on the team. They can join us for the next training run or any of the regular CCG runs. It complicates the smooth boarding process if they follow toons to cash HQ during our training run. Please stand with your leader and keep alert to watch for them saying, "Let's go" so that you move with your team up the stairs on onto the elevator.
