That must be something new. When my account switched to no more SFS (which they were called at the time), all of them turned into regular friends. They all stayed on the list, but only speedchat worked after that.
If the entire list is gone, TT must have changed something. If it is just a matter of some of them gone, most likely toons deleted your toons from their friends lists. Some people do not like to have any non-TFs on their lists.
EDIT: I see now that you are asking to put back some of them. You cannot do that. You can put the feature back on, but they will remain regular non-TF until codes are entered again. If you turn off the TF option again, they will all revert back to regular friends. You cannot keep any TFs if the list is turned off in the parental controls.
