My Mood:
The second generation cog does not attack on the round he appears. He will attack in the next round if not killed or lured.

Some examples:
Example 1:
Round 1 - level 11v2
toons lure, hose, cloud
cog dies, 2nd generation cog appears but does not attack. Kill him in the next round.

Example 2:
Round 1 - level 12v2
toons lure, cake, pie, hose.
The throw gags kill the 12, 2nd generation cog appears and is injured By the hose, but does not attack. Finish him off in the next round. Don't be fooled by the fact that he's blinking red, he's only been hit by a hose and he's barely injured.

Example 3:
Round 1 - level 11v2
toons lure, hose, cloud, piano
cog dies, 2nd generation cog appears and is killed by the piano. Note: lure, tnt, hose, piano would leave the generation 2 cog almost, but not quite dead. This is because the lure was used to bring in the first cog, so the squirt would be used on an UNlured 2nd generation. Correct me if I'm wrong on that one . . .

Example 4:
Round 1 - level 11v2
toons lure, cake, pie, organic cake. Cog is massively overkilled and 2nd generation cog appears completely undamaged.

Lessons learned - Do the math, take into account gag order. Only overkill the v2 cog with a gag that's further down in the attack order.

Just for fun - row of 4 level 11v2 cogs - 3 fogs and a boat takes 'em all completely out.
