Small tasks do not include jellybeans as a reward too. The reward is to be small. Maybe you chose a jb task instead of a small toon task. I get small toon tasks for myself once a week so that I never get big. They are either kill 80 cogs anywhere or 60 in cashbot hq. Once in a while they will offer to do 20 law buildings for the small toon but I wait a day or two til a better small toon task is offered. None included jbs though. Also make sure you turn in the task at hq or it won't go into effect. I'm sure you will figure out what went wrong if TT ever comes back up!
